I just say from 35 to 9 degrees...hehe.
And this wide range of temperatures, which reflects the massive drop in it that happened so rapidly, is for me a lovely correlation to all the colorful, warm and wonderful spectrum of emotions and moments that I was able to experience at this amazing festival. I would like to thank here & now all contributors, dancers, supporters and resonating beings so much. But especially thanks from the bottom of my heart to Rosi, Mateusz, Seb, Mitch & Jago as well as Kora, Riyoon & Kapoor. <3

Life is intense and we should enjoy every moment.

Lipo beschreibt sich selbst als Percussion Enthusiast. Sein musikalisches Konzept beinhaltet u.a. hüpfende Rhythmen und epochale Melodien und bewegt sich vorrangig im Downtempo Bereich. In seiner Diskografie finden sich aber auch progressive House und Techno Exemplare. „Angefangen als Gitarrist der seine Wurzeln im Psyrock verordnet, bedient er sich gerne orientalischer Tonleitern, die mit westlicher, elektronischer Musik vereint ein verträumtes, aber auch energetisches Klangbild erzeugen.
Lipo ist Gründungsmitglied des Wiener Kollektivs "Unlock Me", welches sich neben Clubveranstaltungen, besonders in den letzten Jahren auch auf die freie und schonende Nutzung des öffentlichen Raumes fokussiert hat.“ 
Dieser Podcast bewegt sich zwischen 100 und 108 BPM. Die Tracks sind zu jeder Zeit dynamisch, dadurch kann sich die Musik, trotz teilweiser untypischer Geschwindigkeit, ohne spürbaren Energieverlust entfalten. Kurzgesagt die kommenden 97 Minuten sind ein Sammelsurium nah östlicher Melodien und Gesänge, welche mit springenden Bässen und treibenden Percussion Sounds kombiniert wurden.

However if you dig deep enough you reach  this underground world of quality music and amongst a number of intriguing and wonderful artists the name Wassim Younes will definitely appear across your screen. A DJ known for his excellent mix tapes not only on his profile but for a number of the best music podcasts around such as our friends Serefin Audio Imprint, Orient Art and Deep Vibes Radio, he has also more recently produced a number of quality tracks notably collaborating with Stanisha. 

This mix will make you feel you are being transported by the Lebanese clouds just high enough so you can appreciate the Sun set over the sea and across the mountains. A seamless hour long mix with a number of oriental gems, mixed with a smooth slow house beat perfect to soak in that evening sun. Nico Tober founded in 2015 together with a friend the well-known sound community „Katahaifisch“ where he supports and displays newcomer and the very best tunes of Dj's and producers from all around the world. He's a passionate Dj for Deep House, Melodic House and Downtempo mixes and is currently developing his own electronic output in productions. In 2015 he initiated with „Konception“ an event series that brings together the musical gourmets and nightowls of his hometown Hildesheim in the north of Germany.

Nico's cover art is provided by Radka Tiarksova and her visionairy art project Radka Soulart. The name of this beautiful piece is 'Reawakening Of Gaia'.

Gaia is transforming - the world as we know it is changing and we can't go back to the old ways of living. This 2020 paradigm shift is shacking us all, slowly and massively.

We are all being challenged now to overcome our own personal and collective history in order to evolve into more humane, kind, and loving individuals. With leaving an era where victimhood, curruption and abuse took reigns over our hearts and minds and teaching us codependent habits, it’s time to finally let go and break the walls, opening up to new perspectives and be willing to admit where we experience sabotage and act out old toxic patterns. In a world that has become greatly divided by tremendous political corruption, encouraging a narcisstic society and a growing digital-reality, the majority of us are greatly lacking emotional intelligence and the ability of honest selfreflection.

This includes anyone reacting, getting defensive, pointing fingers, blaming others, living with self-hatred, suppressed emotions, mental projections, and insecurities, even those who cannot see or understand.

Compassion can help us all by knowing that love is what we are all chasing, in whatever behavior and form we do it in. We do have the choice to become kind, truthful, and loving people. We can forgive, move beyond our own filters, and create harmony and respect with one another. In order to make the world a better and more peaceful place, we must learn to overcome our selfish attitudes and transform to care about the “we” and humanity as a whole.

Allow yourself to evolve into love and have the patience and discernment to know it’s worth doing. The choice is ours, in how deep we are willing to love, recognise and release fear, and live the beautiful life we deeply want, desire, and deserve. In this New World, only the heart can survive, with a new kind of unity and love that most of the planet has not experienced and does not believe in, yet.

The time is now to be willing to change our ways, shift our mental perceptions and believe in the life we can all create and live together in love, love, love & nothing else as LOVE.

One day, Bahloo the Moon Lady looked down from the sky and saw the honey hunters. They took their axes, split a tree open and pulled the honey comb out. She knew the hunters always left a sweet treat behind for her. Sure enough they put a chunk of comb in the fallen tree trunk and then left. Bahloo swept down and put her arm into the tree. But her arm got trapped and she couldn’t move. Bahloo heard a strange noise and turned to see many tiny Grass People approaching. They freed her arm so she could return to the sky. To reward their kindness, Bahloo sends dew drops to the grass every night.

➢I hope you agree to answer a few random and fun questions to share with our listeners? 

Of course, let's get started

➢To start you off tell us what song puts you in a good mood when you wake up in the morning? 

Listening to the music I play today, one wouldn't think that I'm a big fan of Soul & R&B. But “It's my house” by Diana Ross always succeeds in putting a smile on my face.

➢Tell us briefly how you chose aka-tony as your artist alias? 

When I created my Soundcloud account, I had no idea that I would be DJing again in the distant future. Back in 2010, it annoyed me that I often got confused with a certain Tony Williams who worked for the same company as me. I often got e-mails and other things that were meant for my almost namesake. So “aka tony” quickly became a running joke among my colleagues and that's how this Soundcloud account name came about. Then in 2018, when I started DJing again after break of 20 years, I had no desire to change this name.

➢You have been busy working on your own aka-tapes as well as conducting interviews for Planet Ibiza. What are your next plans for 2021 and beyond? 

I am currently preparing a fundraising project for indigenous peoples. For the dia do indio on April the 19th, the podcast series Heimlich (AT), Faultierdisko (DE), Casa Caos (BR), Amalaya (SA), Cosmovision (CA), Downtempo Rituals (USA) and Planet Ibiza (ESP) will each release a podcast with music with indigenous influences and call for donations to an organization dedicated to the cause of indigenous peoples. I am super grateful that I found so many podcast series who liked my idea and decided to support this project. 

In addition, at Planet Ibiza we will launch a new format called Inner Sense in February 2021, which is all about spiritual, organic music. We are happy that we were able to engage Andi from the Leipzig Tribe of Peace to start off the new format. Jamie Sisley will then contribute the second episode. I am looking forward to it.

➢Since the pandemic, it has been a difficult time for the music scene, how has it changed within your hometown and what do you think will be different when things return to a certain “normality”? 

Of course, the last 11 months have been incredibly bitter for many cultural workers and I am very sincerely sorry for that. My heart aches when I think of all the people who are suddenly faced with existential questions. Although I have the feeling that there’s still as much music produced as before, but of course all the music that is being created is somehow influenced by the pandemic. However, I believe and hope that with the return to normality, new spaces will emerge. This would be very positive for a city like Zurich, because here, too long and too often the same style has been played repeatedly. Fast and hard. Hopefully this will change a bit in the future, because the downtempo revolution as we know it from Berlin or Vienna will hardly skip Zurich. The people and club operators here just need a little longer but the younger generation already understands it very well. When I listen to artists like Akra Ondo or Oilst, I know that Zurich has a lot to offer.

➢Lastly, regarding this mix you have done for us, can you tell us a little bit about your thought process behind choosing the tracks you chose? 

Well, this answer will be brief. I'm less of a concept guy, so I didn't put a hundred thoughts into it before I recorded the mix. It was important to me at that time to play well under 100 bpm and to put songs with fat basses in it. The rest came naturally.
