Plurtrain emerged in 2000 from a calm after the storm, energized by the pulse of the Undergound.  The early dusk departure from Penn Station fostered its naming yet its reach and sound would rapidly extend far beyond.  A young PKat, then simply a passenger adapting to a foreign culture which spoke in Breaks, Trance, Drum & Bass, Hardcore, and more...; would become engineer and drive Plurtrain to uncharted exotic destinations.

After his disco project as D1rty Kickz where he toured and played 80's tech house & live talk box all over the world and after his more recent melodic techno theatrics, Veytik’s new deep chapter ranges from the dark overtones into more playful undertones mixed with uplifting dualities. Crafting a place of obscurity, acceptance, and illumination. More than ever, the artist is ready to reach out, break barriers, and build bridges from all the facets of who we truly are—our whole self.

As with the moon and its far side, to deny our darkness would be to deny that which makes us whole. Veytik—a veteran combat engineer turned audio engineer, producer, and DJ—embraces this duality through his music. His ever-evolving sound adjusts its focus across a spectrum of moods that both shape and are shaped by his very essence.

As a producer for over 10 years, the Art Vibes label boss has multiplied projects and relentlessly ran in the melodic techno, downtempo, organic, progressive house circuits, connecting with others on the path of music as therapy. 

Veytik’s style continuously evolves alongside his own growth and his response to world events. Featured on a variety of labels noted below —it wavers between eclectic influences, ‘80s, synth-infused cinematic, to the heyday of ecstatic trance music and current trends of melodic, organic, progressive house sounds. His fusion of keytar, piano, guitar & sound design is always handcrafted, every project made from an internal emotion and voice within. Veytik will never take a project on he doesn't connect with.

As a visual artist, choosing a track is a visual experience for me.  As an old school rave-style dancer, I want to hear something that moves my body the way my organs beat within their own syncopated rhythm. The electronic music scene has had a considerable impact on my art so I love to mix tracks as a way to generate ideas for other artworks, even if those ideas never leave my head.  Posted now is a new mix for your listening pleasure.  Listen and let me know what you think.

I make mostly dark electronic stuff.  Sometimes I sing, and sometimes it's instrumental.  I use FL Studio.
