#16 Synthetic Tales - 03.10.24 @90Mil Radio

Andriy Kostyukov aka @andriy_k is a Kyiv-born and Berlin-based producer and dj. Andriy skillfully combines experimental club music and listening live performances. His exclusive works could be heard at many leading events in Europe. Some of the key festivals were he showcased his spectre of sound - ICKPA Berlin (DE), Kontext (DE), Bukolica (CZ), Seismic (CZ), ODS (UA), Voyage Culturel (UA), Na Chasi (UA), Brudnyy Pes (UA), Nearbyrave (CZ), Rehole (CZ).

In 2024 Andriy joined the Shape + artist roster, while he is working on the upcoming audio-visual release, that is dedicated to the ecological catastrophe in Ukraine.

The audiovisual work of @lizardies connects the immediacy of pop and electronic music with the ethereal. Her songs depict a world much softer than reality, where intimate themes are alienated by digital, glitchy sounds and distorted vocals. Dries released two EPs with Cologne-based label @safe-space-records: „Tegenkomer“ in 2021 and „RL“ in 2022. Her debut album, „Year of Romance“ (YOR), will be released in February 2025 on @interceptrecords (House of Coloray, Tsepo, Ineffekt), conjuring a palette where the DNA of hyperpop, shoegaze, breakbeat, house and ambient music coalesce.

Clara Sika is a researcher by profession and a poet by the unfortunate power of procrastination. Her foray into poetry began not out of passion, but from a hasty promise to her roommate, Walter. Fueled by guilt rather than inspiration, her poetry practice has been blossoming ever since. Clara’s work is a tangled web of irony, politics, and last-minute bursts of creativity, proving that poetry, much like her life, thrives on the periphery of intention.
