She writes about being alone in foreign places. Being foreign in your own body. Being a femme* body around crawling eyes. Her mediums are poetry (for love), monologue (for rage) and memoir (for sex). Plus the occasional gothic sci-fi.

Shannon’s work examines themes such as finding tenderness in dark sounds and creating spaces for introverted feelings within intense sound designs.
