Writing 'Chains' was one of the most significant points of my career. In a little studio just outside of LA in Oct '93 Pam Reswick, Steve Werfel and I shared a very special creative moment, we also knew we had just recorded a big hit. For me, the lyrics were cathartic. They were both a reflection of the past and a premonition of the future - like a blessing and a curse all rolled into one. 'Chains' was a top 5 in Australia, the UK and most of Europe. It started the ball rolling for me in so many ways but thankfully I'm no longer in chains!! - @TinaArena
