Kocoon has shaped and sharpened his style as a dj since the mid 90's. He started out as a bedroom dj, beat-juggling, scratching and mixing hip hop for over 7 years, until he had enough confidence in his craft to exhibit it.
He's been a resident dj all over Reykjavík's night life for around 2 decades and dropped into clubs in central Europe during that time.
His style focuses on hip hop, R&B, bass, grime, footwork, juke, boogie and techno just to name a few.
Kocoon is a part of the Plútó dj-collective that hosts a weekly prime time FM radio show on 101 Radio in Reykjavik as well as putting up club nights around the city and occasionally outside the country.
