Finch has been an active part of the Australian dance scene for over 15 years, actively DJing and promoting in the southern island of Tasmania. He has held several residencies, including lounge bars and nightclubs, and has played at events and festivals in Hobart and around Australia. Finch has had the flexibility and talent to support a long list of touring DJs, from the best in Australia (Kid Kenobi, Aston Shuffle, Yolanda Be Cool) to around the world (Roger Sanchez, Thomas Schumacher, Wolfgang Gartner, Fedde Le Grand, Patrick Topping and many more). Finch has incredible versatility and groove, with sounds ranging from underground techno and house, deep tech, to funk, soul & disco. 
 
In 2016 he co-founded a renegade dance collective called Technobrats, with a focus on local talent, custom lighting, and unique locations. Now into its 8th year of operations, Technobrats have built an underground following for high-quality events, including Multiverse, a 4 day camping music festival held each January.

Hailing from the vibrant electronic music scene of Victoria, Australia, PLATYPUSS ignites dancefloors with his electrifying psytrance and techno. Inspired by Victoria’s lush wilderness and Melbourne’s underground scene, he crafts mind-bending tunes that transport listeners to other worlds.

With a command of intricate rhythms, aggressive leads, and thumping basslines, PLATYPUSS‘ original sets can seamlessly move between hypnotic, psychedelic depths to organic, smooth soundscapes. Crooks is a conduit for immersive auditory journeys rooted in collaboration and respect for Indigenous culture. A portal - bridging ceremony and rave; earth and aether - That is both primal and futuristic. Each set creates a space where movement and spiritual connection converge.   

It is not about fusion but symbiosis - a mutual thriving. At its core, it is a reminder - That music, like the land, flourishes when all voices are heard and when we learn to move together in respect, rhythm and harmony. 

This project was born in the meeting of sky and earth. When a blue heron from a faraway land glided down to rest upon country, the ancient spirit of the land rose to greet it. One brought the long journey, the other carried the memory of endless time. Together, they listened — to sky, to soil, to silence — until a rhythm emerged that belongs to both and neither.
