This is the first track we wrote for an upcoming game from the talented and lovely guys from Overhype Studios. "Battlebrothers" is a turn-based strategy/rpg hybrid in the vein of the old x-com, has a beautiful artstyle and the pre-alpha combat demo will kick your ass ;)The game is set in a medieval world threatened by undead and orks so we explored a more orchestral sound and music style for the first time. I wrote this piece in memory of a dear life-long friend who passed away in April 2020 after a long battle with ALS. The title is from Walt Whitman's poem of the same name which he wrote after the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln. It is for a large string orchestra.
