He kicked off his career as a DJ decades ago, spinning anything and everything he could get his hands on—underground parties, abandoned ruins, wasteland clubs, and places no one remembers anymore. 

For a while, he faded into the shadows, laying low until a twisted journey dragged him back into the depths. A pilgrimage of sorts, but not the kind you find in any holy book—he was out there hunting for the lost, the obscure, the sounds thought long buried. 

What he found twisted his mind further, shattered his past perceptions of music, and left him with an addiction to whatever dark frequencies he could wrangle into existence. 

Now, nachtPilger is obsessed with distilling those revelations into tracks that gnaw at your nerves, hoping to spread his obsession to anyone willing to listen. 

His music doesn't just come from the shadows—it is the shadows, pulsing with unspeakable thoughts and voices too dangerous to name.

Uso la voz como un medio para envolver las fuerzas que me habitan y las que atraviezo. Pienso la voz como un canalizador de síntomas espirituales y psicosociales; así como un creador y reformulador de los mismos. Considero a la voz como una práctica, experiencia y experimentación y al sonido como una fuerza de conocimiento y poder. Mi trabajo es colaborativo e íntimo al mismo tiempo.

Ejecuto composiciones propias para voz sola y para voz y electrónica en tiempo real desde el año 2007, actualmente estoy grabando mi primer disco de voz.
Fuí escuchado en LPEP, CETC-Teatro Colón, Centro Cultural Recoleta-LIPM, Domus Artis, Fondo Nacional de las Artes e IMPA entre varios otros lugares. Soy vocalista de CALATO (calato.com.ar). Fuí miembro del colectivo "Buenisssimo" entre los años 2007-2011 trabajando en performance sonora, instalaciones y películas y también fuí miembro de la "Orquesta de improvisadores de Buenos Aires". Trabajo actualmente con improvisadores y compositores de Argentina y Latino América. Trabajo en performances audiovisuales para sitio específico.

I use voice as a medium to envelope forces that inhabit me and that i elapse. I think the voice as a channeler of psychosocial and spiritual symptoms; as well as a creator and reformulator of them. I consider the voice as a practice, experience and experimentation and sound like a force of knowledge and strength. I'm use different technologies and technical processes to reformulate the human and biological capabilities, their common sense, myths and customs. My work is collaborative and intimate at the same time.  I've being performing my own compositions for solo voice and voice & live electronics since 2007 and now recording my first solo voice album. I’ve been heard at LPEP, CETC-Teatro Colón, Centro Cultural Recoleta-LIPM, Domus Artis, Fondo Nacional de las Artes, PureData Convention ’12, CheLA & IMPA; in Argentina, Perú, Chile, Brasil, Uruguay, the Amazonian rainforest & Germany. Actual vocalist of Calato (jazz-noise-improv). In the past I was a member of “buenisssimo” collective between 2007-2011 working on sound performance, installation and movies and also member of the “Buenos Aires Improvisers Orchestra”, also work with many improvisers and composers of Argentina and Latin America. My work has been published by Audition Records, Stereo Neg Records, Jardinista!, N.A.(r)C.O. artist magazine, and I published myself 9 records in the last 7 years which I deliver personally.

Buenoventura is the alter-ego and the solo project of the Viennese musician Bernhard Hammer, best known as a founding member of the live-techno-trio #elektroguzzi.

Buenoventura was born in Vienna in 1980 as a son of a danube ship navigator and a striptease  dancer.  
After school he decided to follow his father´s path and to become a sailor as well. He moved to  Nassau (Bahamas), where he lived for the next 10 years. There he started to play guitar and this  became, besides shipping, his second passion.  
Since a few years he is back to Vienna, where he is working as a musician and Karate coach.
