Fabrizio Lapiana started his career as a Dj back in 1994 influenced mainly by the early 90's sound of Rome and Detroit as well by the first european pioneers of electronic music. In his DJ sets, Fabrizio makes a precise and intimate techno flow who seduces the dancefloor mixing new and old vinyls range from deep, intricate techno, through an acid and groovy darkness with some melodic gems along the way. Fabrizio Lapiana founded his label Attic Music in 2008. He grow up his sound combining deep aesthetics and techno grooves often allowing ambient or industrial elements.He is a monthly resident at Alchemy, one of the most underground and classy party in Italy. For our fifth podcast we've invited the Spanish DJ and producer David Att who’s known for his releases as David Att as well as Attemporal on his own Studio 14 and Att Series label.

David Sierra is David Att a mix of youth and experience to provide the best musical creature possible: intelligent techno crafted slowly, where every part has it’s own meaning in the whole concept. 

He doesn't fit in the ‘track a day’ production dynamics, in fact he is not a product. He has a meaning and a duty, as Derrick May said once, this duty is to save the world from bad music. 
David Att fights against bad music in two principal fronts, the studio and on stage. 

In the studio he provides the best audio elements, digital and analogue to craft his very own sound, focused on the dancefloor but with a strong, mental approach with soul. 

On the Dj booth, he still support the manual way of doing things, mixing with the old technics turntables as a very dynamic tag team, filling his sets with the best underground beats from the past and the future.

Luis Flores is a regular part of Droid Recordings along with other releases on CLR & Blank Code. He is known for his excellent production skills and lengthy live sets which have brought him all over the world. How did it all happen? Well, if you think growing up in Europe or the States with a background in Industrial music is tough, try doing it in Mexico.

This week, we discuss growing up with niché music in Mexico and the birth of their rave scene. He also tells us about the ups and downs as he navigated through the music industry's turbulent era in the late 90s. After touching down briefly on the current difficulties of throwing events and club nights during a particularly rough and sometimes violent period for Mexico's history, we discuss Luis' move to Europe and his current life.

Straight from Northern Italy, Alessio Meneghello or better known for his moniker Alan Backdrop, has been alluring his listeners through his productions characterized with deep atmospheres and a mixture of different genres. Simply put, Alan’s fascination is a reflection of his passion for electronic music and inspiration he gets from the world around.
He is the kind of producer that certainly enjoys his studio jam sessions—this is the reason why he spends most of the time in his studio tweaking knobs on synthesizers, recording and experimenting with the aim to capture and create his exceptional sound.
Alan Backdrop released his debut album, VR Plan, in 2013 on Prologue, an album that includes some of his pioneering tracks, such as “Cherber,” “Medel,” and “Siere.” Shortly, he managed to create his second album, Eria, released in 2014 on Ekar Records, label and platform with which he has a long-lasting relationship and where he released a big part of his discography. He recently joined Mental Modern and Semantica Records where he kicked out some 12".
Alessio's side project is a_000, born from the unprompted come across of him and Enrico Rlt, which resulted in the creation of "Road to Nauta", the very first wax from Ekar Records and "Ness Reworks 001", a 12" containing two original tracks plus two remixes from the label founder and friend Ness.
In addition to spending most of the time in his studio, Alan Backdrop performs in various festivals—the latest in which he performed were Modem Festival and Parallel— and in different clubs and musical events. Fascinated by electronic music and concentrated in the realization of atmospheric musical journeys is the best way to describe Alan Backdrop.

Llegamos al número 21 de Isolation Series de la mano de Irazu. Nacido en Madrid, pero viviendo en algún lugar de Europa, su conexión con la música electrónica es solo un símbolo del expresionismo sonoro del autodescubrimiento para tratar de saber quién es.

Irazu define su trabajo como "Un espacio íntimo entre la tensión y la falsa tranquilidad" y nos deja esta reflexión sobre el mix que ha titulado como ‘110’: 

“110 es un número sagrado. La soledad es parte de lo que es.

La energía que representa el número 110 es ilimitada. Tiene una propensión a tratar a las personas de manera intensa.

La profunda resonancia es la vibración de la propia soledad, la base sobre la cual se genera dicha intensidad.

Una persona con el número 110 en su mente tiende a ser consciente de su relación inseparable pero independiente con la soledad.
