This has been a tremendous comfort to me whilst recovering from Covid. It has been my go to comfort fic since you recorded it.  Thank you for all your amazing work bringing fiction to life for us.

I've delighted in reading fanfics for many years. All of the possible alternate or parallel universes of my favorite stories. The artistry of the fanfic writers beautifully weaving extended tales of my favorite characters, whilst capturing and maintaining the essence of a beloved fictional world, keeping sacred the most vital parts and playing joyfully with the rest. I only discovered *this year* that amazingly talented voice actors also happen to love these, and volunteer their time and skill to this shared love. Ever since then, I've eaten them up, these podfics. The utter joy, the exhilaration of HEARING these universes come to life in my ears brings an entirely new, delicious facet that I'm utterly obsessed with.  I must say, you (by far, by leaps and bounds, by so very much) are my absolute favorite.  You bring so much LIFE to these juicy stories. Your impressions of the characters are amazingly on point.  I can see their faces in your voice.  Thank you so very much for this gift.

oh my god. your voice acting is good. In both Crowley and Aziraphale’s confession I could HEAR the tears and the emotion. I teared up so hard, my lip wobbled. You were able to put so much emotion in it I almost cried, it was a near thing. And also the change of tone and voice you make for each character? marvelous!!!! I love this so much. I could even tell were it was a footnote for the slight change of pace and tone of the narration. thank you so much for this. This podfic is so so so good!!!!

Summary:
When Crowley opens the hotel room door and gets a full look at the dom he's hired, his first very uncharitable thought is that this is never going to work.

It's the beaming smile, the untidy mop of cherubic curls, the rather twee outfit. There's an overall aesthetic of a kindly, gay caricature from a vintage greeting card come to life, and nothing about that lines up with the sort of person Crowley's successfully gone under for before.

His second thought is that he knows a lot bloody better than to judge someone's ability to dominate him by looks alone, and that he's only being such a hypocritically judgmental dick because his anxiety's got him doomsdaying everything again—which is why he's hired someone to help him achieve his own version of meditation in the first place.

OR

Crowley's anxiety is interfering with his kink life so badly that he decides to hire a professional dom to help get him into subspace. It goes horribly until it goes absolutely amazing.
