Chapter 6 WEBE Westport CT, 'WEBE 108' - TM EVO Holiday (Featuring Two JAM Cuts)

A variety of jingles from WOGL-FM as "Oldies 98" - from Otis Connor Drake 88, JAM "Do It Again", CPMG PAMS resigns, and the Frank Gari WCBS-FM package. These were used from 1988 until 2000 when WOGL switched (mostly) to Tony Griffin's "Superhits" packages.

I apologize for the poor quality - these were taken from an sampler 20 years ago and encoded originally as a RealPlayer stream.

This proved quite challenging for me for two reasons. Firstly I was struggling to imagine what I could add, and that I didn't want to make the result with my additions worse than the original. In the end I did a one take improvised piano part, then added a relatively subtley rhythmic beeping in the background. I think I managed to achieve my goal of not making it worse than it was before my additions. You can download a version with the two parts hard panned left and right here:
