Summary: In the hallowed halls of Eden University, professors Aziraphale Eastgate and Anthony Crowley share a desk but have nothing else in common—except for their knack for outwitting each other with escalating pranks that have the entire faculty taking sides. When the university president, in a desperate bid to restore peace, mandates a team-building retreat, the adversaries find themselves reluctantly sharing a room, and sparks fly.

And then along comes Emerson Bradford: a gorgeous American investor with a heart-melting smile, ocean-blue eyes, and a passion for rare book preservation. He’s heard of Aziraphale. He wants to give Aziraphale everything he needs to take care of his books. He wants to give Aziraphale a lot more, besides. And it seems like Aziraphale wants what Emerson has to give.
