Premiere: A-drift Radio - Only You [ALETHIA]

TAU label heads Adana Twins are accomplished German tastemakers. Their cultured sounds often delve into deep,
dark, emotionally-charged territory whether rooted in house, tech or nuanced retrofuturism. Their music has come on the likes of Afterlife, Diynamic and Watergate while they are long-time favourites on the global underground club and festival circuit who play everywhere from Ibiza to Tokyo via New York and Brazil. For this one, they collaborate with TAU label artist Upercent, an unorthodox talent known for experimentation and avant-garde soundtracks on top imprints like Innervisions and Kompakt.

Their brilliantly moody 'Darkness' has infectious broken beats and kicks with a smoky and soulful vocal whisper next to silky synth loops. The bassline is raw and menacing down low as the track unfolds, and emotion builds to an explosive peak that will get hands in the air.

Vital veteran, Applied Magic label founder and Berlin-based talent Aera has more than two decades' worth of experience crafting inspired tracks for some of the scene's finest labels. Here, he flips 'Darkness' into an eerie and stripped-back minimal cut with a rumbling low end and haunting synth patterns that bring a twisted edge to rousing vocals.

The EP's opening track, "Supernova", starts with a subtle and controlled energy, a quiet restraint that hints at the explosion of sound that is about to come. Gradually, it builds into a powerful force, breaking down into countless intricate digital fragments, which then reassemble into something mighty and intense. "Supernova" is truly an emotional rollercoaster, maintaining tension from the very beginning to its final, resonant notes.

"Shadows [EP]" is the follow-up to Nature Resolves and expands on the dark, cinematic sound that first grabbed listeners’ attention. The EP includes two standout tracks: the title track, "Shadows," and the B-side, "Nebula." Both songs have a deep electronic vibe, inspired by the underground energy of UK breaks and hybrid electronic beats, with influences like BICEP and Burial.
"Shadows" is a moody track that combines mystery with melody, creating a haunting yet captivating atmosphere. The track plays with contrasts of shadow and light, hinting at something just out of reach. On the other hand, "Nebula" offers a cinematic energy, evoking the feel of a bustling city at night. To celebrate a fantastic year and prep for the winter, we’ve bundled up 11 dancefloor heaters mixed by Israel Vich to kick off the club season and showcase another side of Poesie. First up we get a fully body massage from Cherry with his delightfully rousing ‘Don’t You Wanna’ before Cascandy takes us on a retro-esque ride through his percussive fields and Guitars. Israel’s own ‘Cherry Strasse’ gives us a warm summer vibe, transplanting us back to the open-airs and long nights of past. Poesie resident Koelle also drops a heavy load, ‘Talking to Good’, while Marco Tequi and Night Vision team with vocalist Jinadu for a hauntingly beautiful instant-classic ‘Hear My Words’. First up is the slow-burning but sensuous Kwaya, a patient track with well-constructed chords that float above the rubbery drums. Some enchanting vocals then join the mix to really carry you away. Kwenda is more spiritual, with pads reaching up to the heavens and drums to make you move.
