Rising duo @jacana-people return with brand new single ‘Awara’, landing on Hide The Moth later this month.

On the new single, the duo continue to showcase their penchant for storytelling across mood-switching soundscapes, encompassing rhythmic drums and nuanced percussion to create a warm immersive experience; teasing elements of ambient, while hinting at the hope of euphoric times ahead.

"We really wanted to create something full of light and joy. It’s one of the first times we’ve used a vocal hook in this big way and when writing the track we just felt it would become the focal point - the thing that people gravitated towards," says the duo on their latest release.

To mark the Spring Equinox, Stampatron is thrilled to be presenting to you fine people a return to form for Perennial Recording Network. 
Its been a long time since our last release, with life getting slightly in the way of proceedings! 
Now in 2024 we are back with our next instalment of primordial electronic music...

Kev D 'Mitis Spiritus' sees Kev take a departure from his inimitable hard-groove techno sound to produce what  instantly described as 'the best piece of music he's ever written'.  Lush, organic synths dance with layered bass and intricate drum patterns to create a seminal production that oozes class and vibe. 
Sitting somewhere between Melodic House and Electronica, Mitis Spiritus does the business and is certainly one for fans of Bonobo, Tycho, Alex Banks, Bicep et al. 

On the flip side, Stampatron has remixed this beast (thanks Kev!) and bring to the table a deeper but harder edit. Pacey breakbeats underpin the organic sounds of the original, while sub-bass modulates behind stabby arps and dreamy delays. I was listening to a lot of Luke Chable and Shiloh at the time of writing, perhaps it shows!
