I reach the breaking point every time I turn the news on to channel nine, its all just crime, mass oppression at its finest.
You can't believe the things that the "judges" say as mass amounts of viewers sit unconscious. Are they just playing with us? I wish they were, it seems like Uncle George was right not to trust corporate rule. You damn kids are screwed. Your countries bought and sold. Entitled lives won't last, we're in for hardships soon.

I just keep wondering
If we've reached the breaking point.

This Tonepoem was created from a story called "The Chicago Abyss" tha appeared on the Ray Bradbury Theatre and I called it "Dangerous Memory."

This Tonepoem was created from a Ray Bradbury Theatre story I sampled called "Usher II." It is a story about a future where the 'moral' police burn the past... but it is a story with a happy ending if you are a fan of Mr. Edgar Allan Poe? :)

My fave quote is where the main character says to the moral police: "There has always been a minority afraid of something, and a great majority afraid of the past, afraid of the future, afraid of themselves..."

C'est tout de même incroyable que je puisse dire cette phrase: "le matin le président des États_Unis dresse une liste de citoyens américains qu'il fera abattre, je veux dire, il a fait assassiner Alaki sans juge ni jury, puis il a fait décimer son fils de 16 ans, sans juge ni jury. Donc ceci est 1984, c'est réel, c'est ici maintenant, la question est d'éveiller les gens, et je rois que les gens sont beaucoup plus alertes pour réaliser que en fait il y a eu 'un coup'. C'est seulement plus visible à certains endroits. Ce que les gens n'ont pas l'air de comprendre c'est qu'on peut, on peut avoir un état policier et continuer à consommer, aller faire du shopping, continuer à voter à des élections, et ce n'est pas parce que le piétage n'est pas granuleux en noir et blanc à la télé que, que l'on ne vit pas dans un état policier. Regardez ce qui s'est passé à Ferguson, c'était la définition d'un état policier, à la base une force militarisée qui répond aux ordres d'un maire, et des élus du conseil municipal, c'est ça la définition de l'état policier. Vous avez ce Département de HOMELAND SECURITY qui dispatche pour le profit des hélicos, des blindés...

Abbey Martin: Des lance-roquettes dans des écoles... Je veux dire...

Naomi Klein: Des tireurs d'élite pour l'amour de... Voyez ce que je veux dire?! Ceci est ce qui se passe dans un état policier ou dans une zone de guerre, ce ne sont pas les États-Unis d'Amérique. L'État policier et ici et notre stratégie devrait être comment combattre cela!

Abbey Martin: Exacte! Je veux dire ça sort dur des journaux comme le Boston Globe, ils nous dévoilent à la base, l'implantation d'un gouvernement de l'ombre, et nous expliquent commentùùù; peu importe pour qui vous votez ces gens seront toujours en controle. Ils disent comment la NSA, le FBI etc opèrent copmme des entités auto-gouvernées. Ces agences seront au pouvoir jusqu'à ce que nous posions des gestes graves j'imagine... Et c'est assez incroyable de les voir énumérer tout cela! Et je crois que tu as raison, c'est une simulation de Démocratie. Il y a un plan qui a été appliquée sur toute la planète, et les gens croient qu'ils sont libre alors que les lois furent votées comme on pose un tapis sur toute la planète!

my second #mashup from the 1970's #tv series #logansrun... the episode was called fear factor and in this #tonepoem the emphasis is on the words #fear #anxiety #purpose. 

the episode asks the perennial and eternally classic question: can a culture of control become scared stupid? ... surprisingly, the answer is yes ;-O.

I did this mashup from an RT news audio file available at https://soundcloud.com/rttv/info-lionel to show the angst in information overload and the constant barrage of media psychobabble, brand and loyalty... who to believe?what is quality of source? et al... 

I think this little mashup fits nicely with similar themes i have done about militant cultures breeding an increasingly paranoid and suspicious psychological type where intell goes all to hell!
