Welding true to the INDEX:essence™, “Heavy Metal, Solid State” is a spectrum of sonic winds. Migrating across 5 low-end rifters, Wessel sound-designs a liquefaction of moods that weave in and out of various textures and inspirations. The result is a shimmering dramaturgy that has the feel of a well plotted mini-album — a start-to-finish 'xperience and a fledgling tease into the talents of Genus Aix.

Starting out on legendary Electro label SCSI AV and Orson Records in the mid-noughties, Point B began to earn himself a reputation through his intense dance floor-focussed EPs and pensive, experimental long players. After absorbing the waves of dubstep and post-garage that washed up on the shores of South London, his sound matured into something that delivered both club euphoria and introspective melancholy.
