The musical outlet of cult author Ryan Bracha, Disgraceful Friend was born during one of the many lockdowns and has been a lot of fun.

Wry humour and catchy hooks, the music straddles an electronica / electrorock genre and milks it like a cow.

The debut album Pearls Before Swine was an experimental lesson in music-making. The second album, Craft Excluder, was a more assured and complete experience and spawned Fake Fake Fake, which was played on the BBC Introducing Mixtape.

2022 saw a slower, more considered approach which was immediately rewarded when the first release Don't Stand Up (Or Your Nose is Gonna Bleed) was selected for play on multiple radio stations, including a second appearance on the Mixtape.

A whirlwind year culminated in a collaboration with the legendary Bard of Barnsley on the euphoric electronic track, The River.

Whilst putting the finishing touches to the third album, Fatally Floored, Bracha joined forces with genius producer and musician Andy Ramsbottom (AKA AUXETTA) and the pair began quietly building a whole new band project called Misery Prize. The band has 17 completed tracks, of which 12 are being mastered to become the debut album, Saints of Obscene.

Fatally Floored is likely to be the last solo album for a long time, as the dark and dirty Misery Prize material begins to drip into the world.
