Jenny Arredondo is a true Techno enthusiast. A music and dance-floor lover. A crazy healthy raver that would dance for hours and hours to proper Techno beats and bass. She is known as the "Dancing Queen". Her passion for music has no limits; she has music in her blood.

Jenny's music exploration journey in the studio began in 2012, she now produces under the names "Headliner" and "La Guru". Her album "Techno Inquisition" was released on November 16th 2013 and her second album ¨Ubiquitous¨ was released on December 28th 2014. Her track "Dark Invader" was included in the compilation REGENERATION by the Spanish label Doppt Zykkler//Series and her new EP is coming soon and will be released by Deep Electronics.

She organized underground techno events in New York, Detroit, Mexico City, Barcelona, Amsterdam and Playa del Carmen from 2009 till 2018.

In 2015, Headliner became part of Female Pressure, an international network of female artists in electronic music and digital arts founded by Electric Indigo.

You will often find her listening and discovering new tracks and artists, also at Techno events having the time of her life.

She is also a User Experience Designer, a photographer, and a world trotter always hungry for more.

Welcome to the 338th chapter of the Deep Electronics serie. Released every two weeks this serie brings you a diversity into the abyss of deep electronic music.

This time returning artist Protuberance treats us with a showcase mix from the discography of netlabel Mahorka from Bulgaria.

About:
For nearly 20 years, being one of the pioneers of the netlabel scene, the Bulgarian “Mahorka” has been keeping a steady output of experimental electronic music. With nearly 300 releases in the label’s catalog, some of which also in limited physical editions (some beautiful cassette tapes and digipak CDs), impressive roster of artists, both established names and newcomer talents (the “rise to fame” of quite a few of them starting from their debuts on Mahorka, e.g. Stév, Amotken, Moki Mcfly, Soul Flask, Black Vortex, Ab Uno, Sevensy…) from around the world and across the whole “genre” spectrum, defining initiatives and collaborative projects as the label-defining “Music for elevators” VA series, presenting different artists’ approaches to “ambient”, the “Eastern Depths” compilations of deep and trippy electronic music from Bulgarian artists, the “Mahorka Remixed” series and the special Netlabel Day reworks releases, Mahorka has become an important scene musical spectacles and sorts of institution when it comes to pushing and naturally un-defining “genre” boundaries, where electronic music production organically interacts and fuses with jazz, metal, industrial, hiphop, neoclassical and world music, with electronic, electroacoustic, vocal and instrumental experiments. In the context of “….” we decided to do some representative extract of atmospheric ambient, melodic IDM, trip hop, dub, chillout, techno and abstract electronic from the label output through the years. 
  
The mix was done in late 2020. The selection was done together by Ivo Petrov �C the man behind Mahorka and Ivelin Iliev a.k.a. Protuberance, who came up with the idea of such mix. Protuberance is an important artist on the label roster besides being important collaborator and supporter, with 4 albums, different compilation appearances and remixes coming out on Mahorka through the last 8 years, besides being one of the main driving forces behind the “Eastern Depths” compilation series. Ivelin also did the mix itself in his unique style, taking us on a trip through the pre-selected tracks, drawing some picturesque new soundscapes and introducing fresh new vibes switching across the genres and directions - from angelic chill ambience, through dark industrial landscapes, biomechanical IDM sculptures, blending in some trip hop and downtempo beats.

This is the 77th Ambient Sessions presented by Deep Electronics. The monthly released session brings you the best and the most diversity Ambient music can offer. This month Ocean in a Bottle makes his debute.

Bio:
Ocean in a Bottle is the solo ambient and drone project from Manchester (UK) based Andy N. 
Ocean in a Bottle was started in 2015, and since 2019 has being following a solitary, imaginary mostly instrumental journey mostly through Space using a mixture of ice sound, vocals and frozen ambient to take the listener through a journey that is unseen before in Space.

Ocean in a Bottle has had releases on labels such Ambient Online, Slightly Off Kilter, Off Records, Persitent Vegetative Records, Silber Media, HICC and Xylem among others.

Andy N is also a poet with four length poetry collections to his name, the most recent being 'The Streets were all we could see' and with his partner Amanda Steel 'The lockdown was all we could see'. 

He also is the host / co host of Podcasts such as Spoken Label, Reading in Bed, Comics Unity, Koll Andy N and Amanda, Wrestle Up and From Inner Room to Outer Space as well as doing a regular column for the Sunday Tribune.
