Paper Relics are a UK based duo active since 2010, consisting of Whitelabrecs label owner Harry Towell and his brother Stuart, a musician. They have released music on Time Released Sound, Audio Gourmet and Whitelabrecs.

This mix for Deep Breakfast clocks in at 2 hours and covers a wide range of post-rock, folk, ambient and guitar-based sounds that have had an influence on their latest EP ‘Emersion’.

Barefoot - 9128.live 2 Year Birthday Takeover - Exclusive DJ Set

The experience took place virtually on August 20th ~ 23rd 2021 worldwide from the radio platform 9128.live.

Barefoot (Captured Visions, Kizen Records, re:st / Plymouth, UK)
Barefoot is based in South West England and has had recent releases on Kizen Records and re:st. His next project, a collaboration EP with The Vision Reels, is set to be released on their new imprint, Captured Visions. His 9128 mix is a journey through ambient and lo-fi styles, featuring unreleased music from himself and other artists in this community.

This August, it has been two years since launching the first iteration of the 9128.live 24/7 streaming site + app. 

We didn’t know back then, that the additional live weekend takeovers would be such an escape for us all during the lockdowns and a way to connect, keep a small community together and discover even more new music. But they ended up becoming some of our fondest memories over the past two years. So we’ll be celebrating this milestone with another marathon takeover on August 20th.

Our next guest comes from us from Australia his background in taste develops from classic rock and early electronica. His recent development in music has been developed through deep techno. His goal is  to take the music internally heard and create mixes to ease back to and soothe the soul.
