Shun Watanabe aka Doltz is well known for his masterful deep techno productions, with work out from Oslated, Circular Limited, and Annulled Music. However, his attention in ambient sound design has always been apparent, drawing us in to swirling and expansive sonic regions as his expertly-crafted rhythms propel us onward.
In Asa, his first strictly ambient work, he goes further, directing the listener’s attention to the shifting, crystalline structures and pulsing loops that ebb and flow through each track, inviting us to stay with each sound, each moment, even as it slowly disappears. Dott. Santafeo (Leonardo Patrizi) is a dj, producer, live performer, sound designer and crate digger from a small town in Italy, Civita Castellana.
With more than 10 years experience he attended hundreds of professional appearances playing at clubs, events, festivals and radios.
Dott. Santafeo has a deep foundation on Dub Techno and Deep Music but he has always rejected stylistic limitations and freely experimented with many different forms of underground music. 
Through time he has ranged a lot in the use of different techniques and means of expression, from the analog jam session to the vinyl dj set.

This is the 96th Ambient Sessions presented by Deep Electronics. The monthly released sessions brings you the best and the most diversity Ambient music can offer.This month NAKANO BLU takes of this months session.

Bio:
Amsterdam-based DJ and producer NAKANO BLU entered the scene during the turbulent year of 2021, after changing his career as a drummer for dark electronic music. Being active for many years as a hip-hop producer and versatile session drummer, he decided to start a new project focused on the inspiring sounds of the Amsterdam club scene, where techno is king and there is a huge space for experimental DJs. and producers to reproduce their songs for an audience that loves electronics. His first single released on Cologne-based label Urban Undergrounds was a more laid-back, fringe house track, but his production style quickly evolved into the IDM and lo-fi techno sounds of his first EP, Æ, released on the Berlin label Corresponding Positions, label of releases from techno legends like Umwelt or Templer. Following this evolution, NAKANO BLU progressed towards breakbeat productions and fast DJ sets containing an eclectic mix of techno, IDM and Latin-American electronic music, defining their particular style of DJing and ready to tear up the dance floor of any club.

Story about set:
After switching from the more outsider house and techno sounds from his first EP ‘Æ’ towards more experimental and darker ambient works inspired by his collaboration with photographer Kim Boske (installation work exhibited at FLATLAND Gallery Amsterdam). NAKANO BLU started a journey in dark and experimental ambient music, where he focuses on the texture and characteristics of the sound rather than in finding 'beauty' and soothing music, that is his personal way to can transport you to a different state of mind.
