We are super excited to share with you our very first Far Blue set. Starting of with a fragment of David Augusts beautiful deconstruction of 'Lecture for Jo Kondo', this set shows our perception of Far Blue. Of the emotion of desire, the emotion of solitude and the emotion of longing. For us, It covers the longing for being in remote mountain ranges or on a distant island, and gradually works towards the longing for loud music and thumping beats (Which is more present now than ever...)

This platform for us is a way of feeling these connections again, sharing them and hopefully inspire you as much as we are inspired by the Far Blue. Bringing you sets created by artists we love and admire. We are very much looking forward to what this journey will bring, and we hope you are too!

Welcome to Episode 139 on Poisonoise Music with the session seeing the return of one of my all- time favourite artists Tom Larson.
Tom always seems to be consistently good with his mixes , whether he is playing Techno , Deep Techno or anything inbetween (be sure to check his most recent sets as there are some excellent ones to be had)

Tom was born on October 24, 1979 in Sonneberg. At the age of 16 he discovered his love for electronic music. At that time he was inspired by music sets of Richie Hawtin, Karotte and many other artists.He also had a big interest in spinning records.
Tom began to create Mixes... He put on records in many reputable locations in his homeland and at numerous radio stations like Sputnik Radio for example. He convinced lots of parties with his ingenious DJ Skills and also wants to convince you. For Tom electronic music is just timeless.

Federsen - Dub Techno TV Podcast Series #44

The next Far Blue concept has been put together by Leipzig based Anna Malysz. An upbeat start, moving into a deep and thoughtful selection with many personal touches such as field recordings and edits: "I have added in field recordings and sometimes edited the tracks on some points, and looked at it like it was a sort of collage. Sometimes I added little details like a breath to a song, sometimes I distorted and layered the tracks until they're unrecognizable. One thing I put in there, for example, is the sound of a hairdryer. I remember being a kid, waking up early in the morning when it was still dark outside, to the sound of the hairdryer by my parents in the bathroom, being snuggled up warmly in my bed."

This mix was inspired by a trip to Madeira, a subtropical island with lush but raw landscape, a giant mossy green rock with spectacular flora in the midst of the forceful ocean: "The mix encapsulates the feeling I had driving through the intensely green-coloured, grey wet rock landscape with rain-hung greyish sky, then eventually driving past a corner and have a breathtaking look at the sometimes ultramarine, sometimes steel-coloured sea."

Ekstendia (real name Andrey Afanasiev) originally from the cold Murmansk in Russia. Passion and love for electronic music came in 1998, when Andrey first heard acid techno and acid trance tracks. Since 2000, he acted as only vinyl DJ. Since 2002 he has actively participated in club life. Played on one stage with Burnski (James Burnham), Falko Brocksieper and other equally interesting DJs and producers. In 2012, together with his colleague Mød, created a project Aima, that promoting dark industrial techno sound. In 2015 Andrey created the project Ekstendia, that focused on deep dub sound and which today is the main.
