Demure Dubcast #20 - Miroir

Welcome to Episode 142 on Poisonoise Music with this session coming in from French based artist David Potiron aka Miroir.
David has had his recent mixes up on some very nice and interesting labels recently,  and is a DJ that i have been keeping a close eye on.     He definitely seems to have a very "crossbreed" sound going on which really appeals to me as it blends deep / dub / techno and minimal tracks along the way.      
This set is yet another example of this sound and takes the listener on a wonderful electronic journey.

Slow Dimension (Nantes, Paris, Buenos Aires) is Lou Berlinger's new project. Her productions are the exact combination of the shades and opacity of dark techno sounds with light, dubby, echoed and filtered chords. Lou has been spinning her minimal, dub and deep techno records for over a decade and had the opportunity to present her live performance under another alias at Batofar, Wilde Renate, Iboat and Cocoliche between 2012 and 2016. 
Slow Dimension is a live machine which has been presented at festivals such as Paco Tyson or Cultures Bar-Bars and at 44 Tours. Recently, she was among the five finalists for the springboard Sortie de Piste in Nantes and has been signed on Apnea Label last January.

Kyrro alias Georges Kury, is a sound designer and producer based in the Netherlands. He grew up in the nineties playing acoustic and electric guitar in solo projects and in a band. Thereafter he started experimenting with synthesizers and collecting records in electronic music . 
He has been producing atmospheric and analogue soundscapes using hardware equipment and outboard gear since more than a decade. 
As Dj and musician, he is constantly shaping deep and ambient aspects of electronic music into his sound through raw elements and keeps exploring new possibilities in the musical spectrum.

About:
Protect, short for "We Must Protect This House" is a call to action. To protect this house is to protect your inner spirit. As a registered nurse and mental health advocate, Protect is dedicated to a life of service on & off the decks. He is the co-founder of the Saint Peterburg-based dance crew & label SPS Cxllective. The Cxllective is focused on helping elevate the Florida house & dance community. It's important to them that the culture is continually pushed forward so that it may evolve & survive. Although raised in a household of junglists & techno heads, Protect has gravitated towards the world of minimal. He also runs a series called "Minimally Invasive", founded in 2019. This mix submitted for Deep Electronics is meant to showcase the diversity in sounds that Protect brings to the table.
