Welcome to Episode 149 on Poisonoise Music and this one sees the return of US based artist and producer James Shain, aka DeepWarmth.
James has been into the electronic music scene for a number of years and has been involved in numerous projects and releases throughout this time, such as the wonderful Cold Fiction Music and Moody Drones labels (links are below so be sure to check these out)
This is now the fourth set that James has provided for my series, and each time he delivers the deep and hypnotic dubby goods, with this mix being no exception.

Raised in Lawrence, Kansas, USA where he still lives, James Shain has had an huge interest in music since an early age. Learning piano and drums in his school years, got interested in electronic music via Hearts of Space as a kid. He has been making music since 2008 starting as lilmanjs, and eventually dropping the name in favor of his real name and DeepWarmth for his beats.

Kyrro grew up in the '90s playing electric guitar and experimenting with synthesizers.
An adept of hardware and instruments, he loves producing soundscapes and mixing deep musical genres of analog eras as well as channeling emotions through digitized sounds.
Based in Amsterdam he’s constantly shaping dubby and ambient Electronics while he continues on exploring new musical horizons.

Bio :
Declining his mother's stern request to 'Get Your Head Out of That Speaker' was a defining moment for Andy. This was June 1988 and the 2nd play of 'Oochy Koochy' at his 18th coming of age party. Shouts to Doug Osborne for the tunes that night.

Over the decades that followed his enthusiasm for deep (and loud) music has never faded and remains active as a clubber, record collector and under the radar DJ.

His soundcloud is a gold mine of electronic music in all its pure forms and essentially a channel to share that endless passion.

Verdant Recordings is also a record label since 2016 featuring diverse music and artists from around the globe, whether new talents or well known. The next release is an ambitious and sumptuous ambient double 12 with Reedale Rise, Jo Johnson, O.utlier and Romanticise The World. Less Popular Than Cats is due in Spring 2022.

The 38th edition of our mixtape-series is a contribution by Bristol based producer and DJ El Choop (@el_choop). We asked him to give us a short brief about the mix and so he did:

The next episode on Poisonoise Music comes all the way from Bergen in Norway, from DJ Pastor Larm.  
My first encounter with Pastor came courtesy of his amazing “Venture” mix (search on his current SC profile to find this) which features some wonderfully deep, warm and dubby sounds and is definitely one of my favourite mixes!
On this set, he stays in a similar vein with some very cool and icy deep techno

Bio:
 
Pastor Larm has slowly matured and governed a deep passion for music since childhood and I still remember the significant moment when i discovered House Music in 1986.
 
The world needs more peace, love & deepness and I think it is about time to take my passion for music out of my living room and share some love and kindness with the world.
 
In 2017 I created my first personal mix and shared it. Plan? We all have some part in making a better world, and I want to "play" my part..
 
My main focus has become more Dub Techno and Ambient, but other deep and mellow genres in general are there to embrace. 
 

I have played wonderful music at home since the 90s, but well, passion is passion, and sharing is caring..

Welcome to Episode 65 on Poisonoise Music, this one featuring Artshade who is yet another talent from South Africa.     I do love to feature these guys as their sound is so pure and is really on point.
Artshade already has his name on labels such as Hello Strange and Sound Vessel so he is no stranger to the deep and dubby sound (make sure to check his page for some more goodness)       
For this mix, he blends together some beautifully deep and low slung beats, all in that wonderful South African style that really floats my boat.

For his first outing, he showcased a gorgeous set of his own productions, but for this one he turns his attentions to the very talented and prolific artist Heavenchord aka Artur Galstyan for a full on mix of his own music plus remixes. 
This set definitely leans towards the more mellow and deep side of Artur’s sound and features some really beautiful moments of ambience along the way.
