Epicure Records is psyched to deliver the fresh new release of Mexican producers Tapia & Mahkina (Alter Ego of Alex Aguayo). In this project, the two guys have joined forces to produce « Stereo Dust », which will be out on the 26 of July.

This EP is pure sparkling club music blending subtly proper industrial sounds, classic rave drum sequences, and atmospheric trance grooves.Together, they have developed an old rave party sound and brought new influences from the explosive Mexican scene. The result is pure bliss. It's composed of three original songs:

The title track, Stereo Dust is a big piano-house summer anthem full of trancey energy that will make you happier than before. You will dance for sure!

The second track, "Black Leather" is a powerful psychedelic machine with a heavy bassline tailored for the club. Play it loud.

The last track, "You Left Your Underwear", grabs its position with a straight beat being accompanied by space echoes, sharp and various 90’s synth sounds.

Cormac invites Tjade to round up the summer with a touch of melancholic dreaminess. Les Hautes comes out on Cormac‘s esteemed Polari imprint 25th of August.

The three-track EP translates into ‘‘the highs‘‘ and it serves as a perfect end-of-summer soundtrack. Les Hautes is synth-heavy and lush, with a touch of acid moments, subtle kicks and haunting vocals - evoking the dreamy cinematic sonic potency which allows an enchanting otherworldly send-off.

Les Hautes was written during the first months of the pandemic, pushing out the very last bit of inspiration to embody the moments of the fading dancefloor happiness.

Having featured on the Diamonds in the Night series with the epic “Midnight Opera”, it was only a matter of time before Lukas Zeringis, better known as Zakmina, had his own 12” on Bordello A Parigi. Following appearances on Correspondant, Future Boogie and XXX, the Lithuanian born musician arrives with two tracks that break the mould. A speeding rhythm sees “For U” race out of the stocks. Bright strings arc before a generous break and this old-school rave anthem reveals itself in all of its brazen glory. Glowsticks at the ready for this seven minute romp into sweaty ecstasy. The flip is inhabited by a completely different animal. “Take Me Back” comes to life with blissful notes before rasping rhythms give way to a rumbling arpeggiator. Sailing strings are countered by squalid acid undercurrents as Zeringis finds a sweet spot between braindance bleep and soulful electronics. A seriously strong debut.

The fifth https://soundcloud.com/kri-records release was produced by a New York based producer Richard Gamble, who has appeared on our compilation Trust The Rust and has received the seal of approval on legit labels such as Marguerite Records and Public System Recordings. Dream Sequence EP explores the boundaries between mutated Wave, Minimal Synth, and EBM in search of a perfect loop and the most epic melody. A dim and moisty atmosphere is often cut by a ray of light but you can't be sure if it's just a flashing strobe. Three original tracks command absolute attention on the dancefloor or on the sofa and are accompanied by a Violet Poison remix. Francesco is another Kri acquaintance, who adds some industrial muscles and sends the vocals and the record into a frenzy. Cheers!

PREMIERE : R.Gamble - Toxic Dip

The title cut of Marcus Christiansen’s ‘Blue Hour’ EP on La Mano’s Sound Du Jour cruises through nostalgic 80s soundscapes with rugged arpeggios and futuristic flair. It’s an evocative and immersive offering with its sight firmly set on the future, setting the tone for the rest of the release by blending elements of Italo, EBM, synth-wave and trance. Indie-dance legend Curses then remixes the track, stepping up as his Venice Arms alter-ego to reimagine ‘Blue Hour’. In his version, he soaks racing breakbeats with tasty acid, transforming the late-night lounge vibe of the original into pure rave euphoria.

Up next, Club Mackan’s Christiansen provides us with ‘Aurora’, a track filled with gorgeous melodics and subtle percussion. While ‘Blue Hour’ occurs in neon-lit city streets, ‘Aurora’ takes things to countryside vistas and radiant sunrise skies, with Manchester fixture and El Diablo’s Social Club founder Neil Diablo then taking off on a psychedelic road trip in his take on the track. His remix features swampy prog-like synths and infectious rhythm, alongside a stripped-back beat tool primed for the dancefloor.
