Origami Blues

Akuratyde’s Deleted Scenes EP is a collection of unique and diverse material written during the sessions for his albums Past Lives and Home Movies. Some are outtakes, some were left unfinished until recently, but their exclusion from those albums doesn’t detract from the high quality of these compositions.

The EP begins with “All We Need”, co-written with US drum & bass producer Justin Hawkes. Originally signed to Hospital Records this warm and lush track has finally found a home with this release. “Spring Walk” playfully draws inspiration from other BMTM producers like Frederic Robinson and Kimyan Law. “Panorama” pulls the listener deeper with its glossy nostalgic synthwave melodies courtesy of the elusive Croms. Closing track “Suffer In Silence” features Akuratyde’s trademark melancholy guitar melodies and was written for his aunt who tragically passed away in 2015.

Deleted Scenes is available worldwide on Jan. 27th.

It has been a difficult few months for the Syhda Music team and we were forced to take a break, but once again we come back stronger and with a lot of new material for this coming year that we hope will be very special.

We are very excited to present "Ethereal Matter", a compilation of 6 tracks by Various Artists that we have been making with great care during this time and that further establishes the foundations of our label's identity. We invite you to discover this eclectic and futuristic EP where we have gathered very personal works that are different from each other. We welcome to our label the well known No Rules, Itti and the newcomer Elizar Mel, who present us with some very exquisite tunes that accompany the incredible works made by Yin Yang Audio, Spinnet, YHVHSQUAD and The Egg that return to our label with a very innovative and powerful material as always. Here we leave you with the last track of this compilation, presented by the already well known and experienced No Rules & Itti, whom we welcome as they make their debut on our label after their extensive career having released works on some of the most important labels from the most experimental Drum & Bass scene. The Russian and the Japanese present us with "Gagaku", a tune with a spectacular sound design, which transports us to a chaotic and decadent experience, in the purest style of science fiction soundtracks, a work that offers a fitting end to this incredible compilation.
