Second release of Polaroid Notes on UK label Audio Gourmet. The EP "Days Of Our Lives" preceeds the forthcoming new PN album "Unsung Memories", soon to be released in autumn. 

"Days Of Our Lives" is a set of four pieces produced over two hot nights in early July this year and features a piano, two digital synthesizer apps, rhodes samples and field recordings, drenched in effects. The EP is a short sound track, further exploring the PN's keenness for travel, with each piece serving as an individual aural postcard from a visit to the Piedmont Mountains and the Ligurian coast. 

The writing on the back of the postcards for each track would read something like the following, which have been added as lyrics to each track to provide some food for thought.

South Of Heaven: "A reflection of the Italian way of life, everything’s easy under the warm Mediterranean sun…" 

Crooked Road To Monviso: "Monviso, the highest mountain in the Cottian Alps is a pyramid-shaped mountain which can be seen from far away. Usually, but most of the time it’s a mountain cloaked in a cloudy disguise." 

Flowers And Butterflies: "In my life I've never seen more beautiful flowers and butterflies than at this remote place in Valle Stura. Overwhelming." 

Days Of Our Lives: "This is what it's all about: Sitting at the dock of the bay in Noli/Liguria"
