'Thursday, 2am' is the first track to be taken from the 'New Day', 
the forthcoming release from Satoshi Tomiie on his own newly inaugurated label AbstractArchitecture.

'New Day' will be introduced first on a limited edition vinyl only sampler, with two album cuts and remixes by his longtime heroes Ron Trent and DJ Sneak.

The A side features 'Thursday 2 AM' and Ron Trent’s Remix Dub. The original highlights Larry Heard's influence on Satoshi's early days as late 80s house producer, with a classic sounding bassline and synth pads. It gives the legendary Ron Trent the perfect tools to deliver a timeless production - in fact, he liked it so much he made three different versions.

The B side shows a slightly different sound with two versions of '0814'.The original, an energetic DJ tool made after a particularly inspiring club show, was simply asking for a DJ Sneak remix. The house heavyweight immerses it in his signature sound adding a dubby feel to the original.

This first album sampler will be out via AbstractArchitecture on 11th May as a limited vinyl only release, making it a real collectors item.

The album ‘New Day’ is released on 22nd June 2015.

With the anticipated unveiling of the inaugural release on his Vivrant imprint entitled the ’Taiga’ EP, Jeremy gives the public a sneak peek into his sonic treasure chest. Filled to the brim with a seemingly infinite number of unreleased gems, his music has at last found a place to call home.

Accompanied by a graphical profile and artwork created in collaboration with multi-award winning creative studio Rebels Studios, the EP conceptually resembles a mini-album. Made up of a total of four tracks with the first and last offerings, ‘Taiga’ and ‘Falls’, taking on the roles of proverbial set opener and closer. Played for the first time in Jeremy’s Group Therapy Radio guest mix, ‘Taiga’ is dark, thumping and hypnotic, while ‘Falls’, a new never before heard creation, is soft, dreamy and uplifting.

Second and third on the EP is ‘Pinkerton’ and ‘Roots’. While vastly different, they have a common denominator in being sophisticated, sure-fire peak time weapons. ‘Roots’ is energetic and soaring, while ‘Pinkerton’, made famous by the Olander and Prydz B2B BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix from earlier this year, has an infectious, trembling trademark Olander lead and a sawtooth bass-line your ancestors will feel.

In a time when the artform of curating an EP is on life support in favour of the more chart friendly single format, the ‘Taiga’ EP restores faith. Unlike anything you’re likely to hear from anyone else, it paints a positive picture of the future of innovative dance music.

Following on from their Record Store Day ‘Looped EP’ release, which featured remixes by Dauwd and Lubomyr Melnyk, Kiasmos – made up of Ólafur Arnalds and Janus Rasmussen – return with three new tracks and a remix by Tale Of Us.

Recorded in various locations including Reykjavík and Berlin, the EP opens with ‘Drawn’, a four-minute percussion fuelled track with gentle piano motifs. ‘Gaunt’ features the addition of ambient synths and a drum loop, underpinned by slow-moving chords. Title track ‘Swept’ which the duo offered to fans as a surprise gift in form of a free download card at previous show dates, showcases a more club-oriented beat structure alongside Kiasmos’ signature emotive instrumentation. 
 
Closing the EP is a remix from Berlin-based duo Tale of Us who met Kiasmos in London and twist the original downbeat title track
into their distinctively dark aesthetic. Pulsating hats and a driving bass loop add pace as the track builds toward an epic breakdown.

The ‘Swept EP’ will be released on 12”/DL via Erased Tapes on November 20th, 2015.
