My dear people 

As this year just ending and new one is knocking at our doors , it is  time to sit ,look back and say thank you .

after cover days its more easy to realize that Nothing in our life can be taken for granted , we have to be awake ,listen to our hearts and say thank you million times.

Thanks to the first morning breath we take  , to the sun that shines, to the falling rain, to the people who loves us ,our friends, families, and to our inner child .

Last year i didnt do this mix cos  its just didnt feel natural to me doing it in  between covid days and lockdowns of 2021 

this mix symbols me freedom ,symbols me a year full of dreams , spirit ,people dancing ,loving ,dreaming ,sharing moments and endless time together , i have so many beautiful memories while playing this tracks  in 2022  and this mix always  helps me to preserve some of them . 

i wish you happy new year , to love and to be loved , to be happy inside and outside , to spend time huging and being surround with people that fill you up with a cosmic energy .

This Wave Room episode is the recording of my sunrise set from Katerblau in Berlin in July 2025.
it was my first time playing there, right after my friends Chambord at 6am, the energy was so warm and open, it really gave me the freedom to play around and step outside my usual comfort zone.

Berlin just hits different. The way it embraces artistic expression is really special. And Katerblau itself is such a dreamy venue, right on the water, partly on an old boat.

Also, around 2h13 in, i play a track that means a lot to me: it’s my new collab with Monblaire called Don't Depend, and it’s coming out this Friday on Bedrock 🤍

Wildwood is truly honoured to bring you Rainbow Serpent Festival's Mad Monday Closing Set by none other than our soul brother Patrice Baumel. 

Patrice has a few words he would like to say... 

“Ahead of my GU42 Berlin album release on March 29th, I wanted to share a very special live set from the other side of the planet. Like Berlin, Rainbow Serpent is an anomaly on the rave map. This mix will be online for a very limited period only:

The best dance floor in the world. That’s the Market Stage of Rainbow Serpent Festival to me. The energy of the Rainbow tribe, the rabid vibe and feeling of unity are difficult to describe to anyone who has not been here. Simply standing on the dancefloor and experience this incredible sound system is one of life’s finer pleasures. I felt absolutely honoured to be trusted with the task to close the festival. Looking onto the dancefloor from the dj booth, the Market Stage painted a beautiful picture. The atmosphere was electric and love-drunk all day, Nick Warren and D-Nox brought their A-game.

This is my third year in a row playing here and the absolute highlight on my yearly calendar. In these years my wife and I have made friends for life here, which is why we release this mix with our beloved Wildwood crew. We have grown extremely fond of Australia as a country. This place has received us with open arms from day one and never fails to blow our minds in many different ways. It has become our second home.
