This is a re-recording of a set I performed for PsyBoutique, on Music Box Radio. I have used the same tracks, but in a slightly different order near the end, and with the odd tweak to improve the transitions.

This is the fourth evolutionary phase of Mindwave, aka Anton Maiko from Nazareth Illite, Israel. Throughout this process he has gradually established himself as one of the most innovative, mind-bending psychedelic phenomenon in the Psytrance scene. Mindwave never stops surprising with new approaches and melodies that penetrate even the hardest creatures. With 3 monumental albums behind him (Escape From Reality, Awaken and Concept of Freedom), his sound has gone through another metamorphosis and his current configuration can be heard in this new album – Insight. 

This path to receive the ultimate Insight has begun through a Fade In, where one dissolves into the atmosphere and flies with the vibration of the sound. It could be thought of as if we are talking about Transparent People, but in fact there is a lot of Logic behind this Black Light that conceals what our senses do not naturally comprehend. It generates Oblivion of sonic camouflage, but at the end of it you will reach your desired Insight. This will lead into a magical sensation, a sort of Solstice or a Sacred Experience. It will also inflict a Nebula of emotions, the kind that make you understand what it is really all about.

Austin Matkin, also known as Poli, originally hails from Memphis Tennessee. This southern comfort moved across the Atlantic to Amsterdam at the sweet age of 16 where he quickly immersed himself into the psychedelic psytrance scene.
In 1994, Poli went to the VuuV festival and experienced his first proper Goa party which solidified his love of music and ignited his creativity. Alongside some friends, Poli helped found Spun Records and in 2006 released his first album called "Electric Wonders". Some of his influences include X-Dream, Green Nuns of the Revolution, Hallucinogen, Slinky Wizard, Eat Static & Tristan. Poli has been systematically rocking dance floors in the US club scene from LA to NY and jumping continents to play underground parties and festivals such as Brazil´s Transcendence and Japan´s Solstice. Poli is now an artist and resident DJ at Zero-1 music where you can expect to see his new Busted EP featuring a GMS remix coming soon..
