The new single is released only a few months after the debut release from the band “Feel The Sweat/Freedom [Single]”, which was praised by the local music scene and resulted in landing Captain Stingray’s Groove Machine a spot on one of the more prestigious gigs in town.

The Sound Savage launch party saw 'Captain Stingray’ perform alongside Stoke legends Psyence as well as ex The Zutons frontman Dave McCabe & The Ramifications inside Hanley’s hottest new venue The Exchange. Reviews of the night praised Captain Stingray’s set with The Rebel Bear Precinct saying: 
"I have never seen such a bright, happy, feel-good band that could captivate an audience so much in a half an hour set. There mix of Funk, Traditional African and Latin American influence really takes over your soul and makes your body move in ways you never thought possible. Their original mix of world music left a smile on every face and a tap in every shoe."
