Sotor Records are a Moroccan vinyl and digital outfit that launched in 2021, and with a superb roster that includes music and remixes by Oscar Mulero, Perc, Zadig, Electric Rescue, and Kangding Ray, to name only a few.

Debuting on the label is Fhase 87, a French artist who lists releases on the likes of Ben Sims' Symbolism, Ricardo Garduno's Illegal Alien, Electric Rescue's Skryptöm, Arnaud Le Texier's Children of Tomorrow, as well as his own FRENCH LOOPS imprint.

For this DT:Premiere we selected "Southside" with a raw, energetic and driving sound. The moody, powerful ride has hardgroove influences, a twisted vocal snippet and piercing synth chords for added depth to this quality cut.

Melbourne-based Art Fact returns with a full e.p. release, Kimura, after his contribution to Solid VA last year. The release includes remixes from  Silent G and Kaltblume.

The e.p. weaves through different shades of deeper techno sounds, showcasing Arta Fact's trademark sound and its development. Starting with the minimal sounds and seductive vocals of Authentic Stimulation. Silent G adds depth to his remix by layering epic, synth stabs over a warm, rolling bassline. Kimura and Bone Collector are prime peak-time cuts, both making use of bleepy sounds and spliced vocals to deliver a powerful, hypnotic, and playful experience on the dance floor. Pax Romana relies on clever drum programming and a sweeping vocal that evokes late-night and early morning vibes. Kaltblume retains the vocal as the central piece and builds a lot of movement and rhythm around it, especially with those dynamic lows.

BIO:
Prizm (Unpleasant Texture) is a DJ and producer from Warsaw. Together with Vitalis Popoff, he creates the Unpleasant Texture production project, which he currently devotes the most of his time to. Co-founder of the Warsaw Torture Boyz project, a member of the BLCKSTR collective. 

Invariably for years inspired by the British art scene: (Surgeon, Regis), Brighton / Nu Skul Techno (Cristian Vogel, Jamie Lidell, Si Begg, Tobias Schmidt), which translates into his inspiration and the search for his own selection model. Focusing on the in-depth search for lesser known publications, his sets can be synonymous with alternative underground. Prizm has published on international and Polish labels such as Groundzero Teknocamp (DE), Variance (IRL), Nashton Records and DRVMS LTD.

A resident of the Poznań club Projekt LAB - Cosmaya is another artist who recorded a podcast for Polish Techno.logy. Unconventional combination of many styles is a hallmark of Cosmaya.

Cosmaya - a DJ, producer and a resident DJ of Projekt LAB from Poznan, Poland. She started making music back in 2014, in October 2014, she released her first single "Singularity" via Planeta Psy Records. In 2015 EP "Blue Plasma" via Goa Records and in May 2017 she started DJing. She performed alongside such artists as I Hate Models, Cleric, O [Phase], Xosar and Sigha. Inspired by hardcore music, she does not limit the amount of distortion. In her sets she blends hard, energetic and sometimes acidic techno with some broken rhythms.

Dear listeners! The guest of the #70 episode of our series is Adam Michalak - a young, but extremely talented producer, with releases for such renowned labels as Illegal Alien Records. We are glad that such artists as Adam leave their musical mark under the sign of Polish Techno.logy.

Adam's adventure with music began in his early childhood, when he began learning to play the piano. His passion for music was later on born as a natural repercussion of that time. The first ambient and experimental productions resulted in release in 2010 on the Portuguese label Test Tube, and then in 2012 he released an EP on Somehow Recordings. Over time, his producing interests turned to more rhythmic forms and genres such as Techno and Deep Techno. In 2013, Adam's first full-length album was released by the Canadian label Silent Season. Then, the first vinyl “Decay” was premiered via The Other Way in 2016. In 2017, his VA track was released via Parabola Records, while the second full-length album was released by Illegal Alien Records in 2019. In November of the same year, an EP of his was released via the French label Lett Records. His tracks were played by such techno producers as Adriana Lopez, Arnaud Le Texier, Ricardo Garduno and SPDFJ among others. Adam continues to get inspired by what is still undiscovered. As he says, "you can find originality and a unique texture in every sound". Each of his DJ sets are telling a different story.

Polish Techno.logy was created in 2017 as a podcast series project. Over the years, it has become a respectful platform which hosted sets of many local artists as well as the international ones. 
Among many others we invited artists such as Arnaud Le Texier, Insolate, Joton, Bralle, Anne, Falling Echoes, Antonio de Angelis, Casual Treatment, D/n, Red Rooms, Juri Heidemann, Decka and many more.

As a natural progression we started to promote the music, which correlates with our vision by working with artists, collectives and labels and uploading their tracks as premieres.
So far, we have been trusted by such labels as Planet Rhythm, Newrhytmic Recs, KSR, SK Eleven, VOXNOX Berlin, OECUS, Out Of Place, Prophet Recordings, Immaterial Archives, Devotion Records, METHODICAL and many more.

Recently we have also released our first album as a form of a V/A hosted artists like: Vertical Spectrum, Tremor, SKZ, Internal Explorer, Szmer, Johannes De Leysen, Mislaw, Rethe, Rudeboy.
