Originally, Cadavre Exquis (also known as Exquisite Corpse in English) is a game by which a collection of words or images is collectively assembled. Each contributor is tasked with adding an element to form a larger sequence.
Using the same concept with techno music production, we challenged local and international producers to make a 5 tracks EP, with 3 artists per track. None of the artists knew who they were working with until the end of the challenge. They all were assigned to work on a different segment of the track: rhythm, melody, and sound arrangements; and had 48 hours each to produce their part.
The goal of our project was to strengthen the links between the producers in the techno scene worldwide, showcase the work of emerging artists and give them visibility through an EP downloadable for free. The result is remarkably surprising and gives us a great taste of diversity, mixing different techno genres and featuring artists coming from Europe, North and South America.

In her teenage years, thru clubbing and rave parties, she developed a deep passion for electronic music and it wasn't long before she started mixing.

From the shadows to the stage, Headless Horsemans musical efforts are meticulously executed without compromise. The eponymous Headless releases sum up the modus operandi of this artist: dark, raw and rhythmic IDM flavoured Techno. His hardware only live sets at Berghain, Berlin Atonal, Boiler Room and worldwide have showcased the Horseman’s insurmountable skills as a producer and cemented his place in todays techno scene.

Blocaus is collective whose goal is to promote and develop techno in Paris.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the closing track “Mycelium” that is punchy and fierce. The intense chopping layers and rambunctious hats are led by the glorious, bouncing bassline that really sums up a classic take on techno with plenty of contemporary and forward thinking flair.

Polish Techno.logy was created in 2017 as a podcast series project. Over the years, it has become a respectful platform which hosted sets of many local artists as well as the international ones.

As a natural progression we started to promote the music, which correlates with our vision by working with artists, collectives and labels and uploading their tracks as premieres.
