Fuse co-founder Enzo Siragusa steps up for productions duties once more with his ‘Hard Steppers EP’. ‘Flexin’ kicks things off with a pared down groover of a track; simplicity is the key here, all the elements combining beautifully for a deadly hypnotic head nodder.  ‘Jump Up’ once again harnesses Enzo’s Jungalist past with a typical rave-inflected, monstrous b-line underpinning the brisk percussive nature of the track, a real treat for lovers of the black wax as the track is strictly VINYL ONLY.

Isolée’s Arrival

When three people run a label together it is exceptionally rare to find a positive unified opinion of a record upon first listen. When Isolée sent his "Mangroove" EP to Maeve, this was in fact what happened. But it is Isolée after all....

Mangroove came about last summer when The Drifter happened to catch Isolée's live set at a festival in Switzerland. Instantly blown away by the A side "Pisco" he was determined to find out what it was and if it was to be released. After chatting, Isolée suggested that he would send "Pisco" along with a couple of other "demos" to Maeve and a few days later the EP was happening.

Isolée has created some of the most important and beautiful records of our generation and has being a huge influence on what we do, thus we are incredibly excited and humbled to release his work.

This three track EP shows several different sides of the Frankfurt native, from the A-side dance floor catalyst that is "Pisco" to the deeper dubbier B-sides of "L5 Syndrome" and "Mangrove". This is the perfect record to mark our tenth release.

Politics Of Dancing Records celebrate their 3rd anniversary with two vinyl only releases and a digital compilation of unreleased tracks from a pretty impressive line up of confirmed and up and coming producers. The first part to be released sets the pace with four deep house cuts from Janeret, D'julz, Djebali and Politics Of Dancing. Janeret's First Light is a deep, bass heavy number, with spacy stabs, cut for serious peak time action. D'julz offers us a deep tech house killer with sharp stabs and a dubby bass, a timeless one for dancefloors. Djebali delivers a fat bumpy deep house tune with his very distinctive stylish and groovy touch, and label bosses Politics Of Dancing drops a deep tracky house piece, with swinging dirty underground vocals and a heavy rolling bassline. This is Paris house music firing!
