From the get-go, the track harnesses a raw energy of fast paced rock ’n’ roll combined with melodic synth lines, Beatlesque harmonies and a funky guitar party-vibe breakdown. With one foot in the past and one in the future ‘Squeeze’ is bursting with infectious twists and memorable hooks.

The story behind the song was originally conceived when two members of the band were reading international bestselling novel 'Gone Girl' by Gillian Flynn while travelling to a music festival in North Queensland. The poisonous relationship between the two main characters in the book sparked the inspiration for the song. "The explosive journey of their relationship really fascinated us,” says guitarist Patrick Gundersen.
