Almost 15 minutes long fragment of:

"Trance. Culture. Flow" was the first concert in the autumn series of audiovisual events, which took place on September 29 at Sauna Studio in Warsaw. Sasha Zakrevski and Jerzy Mączyński, or Poly Chain x JerryandThePelicanSystem, presented a new sound material that critically reflects the eurocentric attitude from the perspective of music and the trance traditionally used in it. The project focuses on the contexts of electronic music and its potential inclusiveness. Small gestures in video and audio field recordings reflect the repetition, at the same time individualization of daily and ordinary needs and desires, probably independent of time and geographic location.

SAUNA STUDIO is an abandoned spa complex in the basement of the former Polish-Soviet Friendship House in Warsaw. Now converted into a studio and venue for recordings, concerts, exhibitions and audiovisual activities.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Poly Chain. "Afterhouse In SchneidersLaden" comes off the new v/a from Berlin's TYME collective. TYME is a newly found label that provides a space for emerging artists from Ukraine and the world to release music that transcends boundaries. For its debut release 'On the Silver Shore' , TYME invited 28 artists from different cultures, backgrounds, and experiences. Their creations span across the wide spectrum of electronic music, ranging from experimental and ambient to hypnotic and groovy techno. Notable contributors include iconic artists such as Schacke, Shackleton, Cressida, Nastya Vogan, Pavel Milyakov and Yan Cook. 

Today we premiere this one from Poly Chain. The artist had this to say about the track: "During the last two years I started to produce slow and tender music again and I am happy it found its place and purpose with TYME and its fundraiser. Finally my experimental side and technical production one started to crystallize in the form I would love to build as an artist."

The traveling exhibition "Miniature Ukraine" is an interactive experience designed to highlight the value of Ukraine's immovable cultural heritage in the European and global context and to call viewers to take action to protect it. The exhibition includes 29 3D models of the most famous architectural landmarks, which were scanned and printed by the organization Skeiron.

Berlin-based imprint Lightronics kick off their schedule with a full-length album of experimental club sounds and post-ambient textures from label boss Sasha Zakrevska aka Poly Chain...Standout track, ‘Elisiv’, unfolds like a signal sent from a dark, concrete fuelled future. With ultra-filtered hi-hats slicing through a sea of warped arpeggios and fragmented bass, the track pulls the listener into an oppressive, sweat-soaked underworld. The echoes of a long-forgotten queen, Elisiv of Kiev, reverberate through the synths as the track morphs into an all-consuming ritual - twisting, morphing and spiralling through snare-less breakbeats and dissonant bass.

Free Gestures is a choreographic exhibition, activated by a group of dancers for five hours each day. The starting point is the question of how ideologies become incorporated into our bodies and language. Here, it is not the performers’ bodies or objects that are the works of art, but rather the performed texts, gestures, and movement. The first individual exhibition of Ula Sickle, a Canadian artist of Polish origin, presented in the Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art, confronts the problem of the loss of individual and collective agency in today's world.
