Berlin-based imprint Lightronics kick off their schedule with a full-length album of experimental club sounds and post-ambient textures from label boss Sasha Zakrevska aka Poly Chain...Standout track, ‘Elisiv’, unfolds like a signal sent from a dark, concrete fuelled future. With ultra-filtered hi-hats slicing through a sea of warped arpeggios and fragmented bass, the track pulls the listener into an oppressive, sweat-soaked underworld. The echoes of a long-forgotten queen, Elisiv of Kiev, reverberate through the synths as the track morphs into an all-consuming ritual - twisting, morphing and spiralling through snare-less breakbeats and dissonant bass.

Bridging together experimental club soundscapes, Herrensauna Vol. 3 is a confident stamp of where the label sees itself at the moment and the world it exists in, featuring artists they admire and friends of the collective. From the dreamy and ethereal melodies of @corakoala , @sepehr.music_ and @rozaterenzi to the wonked-out leftfield club anthems of @ndegrandi , @animisticbeliefs, @3ddancer_ , @galaxianmusic , @r_325__ whilst rounding off the release with bass mutations from @fetus_music , @touriszt , @installing_t5umu and Sexapil.

WL//WH is very pleased to premiere the jazz-tinged, glitchy atmospheric downtempo track, "UUDDLR," from the forthcoming self-titled debut album by the British experimental electronic duo Sarno Ultra via Glasgow-based independent label  Bricolage (@bricolage-g5).

“Sarno Ultra” opens up a new musical chapter in the lives of Jon Worsley and Kayla Painter (@misskaylapainter). Known for both their own solo material and their collaborative work in Jilk (@jilk), these two underground stalwarts have come together for something entirely different on this new project.

Prepare for a sense altering trip that creates and traverses through a futuristic audio landscape and leaves no surface untouched.

Fractured vocals, intricate cascading rhythms, collapsing mechanical structures and pulsing textures carry the weight as we shift between moods and tempos with open eyes and ears.

There’s blasts of high energy percussion and glitch laden sound design that effortlessly mesh with the more melancholic sounds and brittle bliss that partners them. It’s an album that never sits still. Even in its quieter and warmer moments, “Sarno Ultra”, always keeps us guessing which exploratory path we’re headed down next.

“Sarno Ultra” is a debut album that drags you into a sonic whirlpool but embraces you while you’re there. Enjoy the experience.
