Originally written for a video project involving icebergs in Newfoundland, and the result of the Deadmau5 Masterclass I took.  This is the Winter Mix of The Rock from the upcoming album, "Icebergs".  The concept of the album was to take tracks I've written quickly and strip them back to more ambient versions.

Happy to be home was originally included in the Bandcamp version of Terminal and was written just as Scott and I returned back from a long weekend in St. John's, Newfoundland.  It's also representative of my feeling of being home in Toronto after an intense period of work travel.  This is a remastered version of the track.

Terra Nova became a stripped back version of Happy to be home, which was originally released on the Bandcamp version of Terminal. 

The concept for Icebegs is to take tracks I've written as electronica versions and strip them back to their ambient forms.  It was also supposed to be music for a friend's video project involving icebergs.  Icebergs has become a metaphor for reframing and change that's happened in my life since that trip.

This is a Pet Shop Boys cover of Comrades! from Battleship Potemkin.  I decided that during lock down, I would cover to push learning of some hardware, new techniques and such.

New music Friday from Polyatomic!  Trashfire was the last track written for the album.  It embodies some of the emotions, ups and downs I’ve had since March.  I wanted to write as much of this track on the Korg Wavestate, which has some amazing old iconic from the Wavestation and some soon to be iconic sounds.  This also features my first use of BT and IZotope's StutterEdit 2.  Yes, that is an acid line from Roland Cloud’s TB-303 which is sublime.

I spent a lot of time in Manchester between August 2019 and March 2020. I adore the history, the canals, the music scene, and Canal St. 

Better to love was written in response to a night of clubbing with amazing tunes spun by DJ Moodybear. This boy knows his music and he knows how to play a crowd. I’ve come to really appreciate the power of the dance floor since the start of quarantine during the COVID pandemic and I’m looking forward to getting back out there.
