Coming from Salvador, Bahia, URUBU learned early to flap her wings to the rythm. Before meeting the machines she met the drum skin. A persona that grew within Vodoohop parties and journeys. From that to a big digging into psychedelic melting with the brazilian most sounds, loads of vibrating skins, wooden samples and oscillators.

Since then has frequently traveled and performed in many countries and also through many cities around Brasil, developing each time a broader and diverse exploration of all corners on music spectrum. Since for 7 years has created a solid base in Europe playing in the most prestigious festivals.

Bis anhin releaste das Zürcher Label 51 nationale und internationale Acts mit über dreissig veröffentlichten Tonträgern. Mit innovativen Klangwelten und technischer Raffinesse gewann SM nicht nur zahlreiche Förderpreise, sondern machte sich auch in der internationalen Fachpresse einen Namen. Durch akustisch und visuell gleichermassen beeindruckende Live-Präsentationen des Materials, markante Grafiken und visionäre Bookings avancierte das Label darüber zu einem Gütesiegel für anspruchsvolle Liebhaber. Längst erweiterte das Label sein Spektrum über die Elektronische Musik hinzu genreübergreifenden, akustischen Songprojekten.
