the Brazilian queer duo put together a slow-cooked storytelling from soothing ambiances and polyrhythmic hypnosis to more robust, divergent electronic forms. 

an ode to the relentless creativity of the global south, their set subtly resists and subverts northern dominance, showcasing underground artists from Brazil, Kenya, China, Argentina, Bolivia, Lebanon, Mexico, and beyond.

Fuan e Kitai - Music from far east, via Kuroshio Current, to fictional South America 

In Japanese “Fuan” means impatience and “Kitai” anticipation, reflecting Dj Shhhhh’s emotional state when he made this mix just before going for the first time to Brasil &amp; South America. It meant a lot to him since he had been researching music from this continent for more than 15 years. Noticing that the new generation brought up with electronic music was completely disconnected from Folk music he took on this mission to create a bridge between these different universes. He found an echo in the current south american music scene and since then has been releasing and bringing to Japan these new artists. For him in spite of looking opposite folk and electronic music share the same elements settled in traditional knowledge of how music makes the human nature vibrate.

Mamazu started to DJ since middle of the 90’.  His dj style has inspired a lot by diversity of sounds, people, and atmosphere at Club Aoyama MIX (closed) at the beginning of his dj life. He plays music with his own senses and groove with an established reputation from people at bars, big clubs, outdoor festival, and overseas. 

In making music, he provided some songs to Skateboard DVDs. In 2018, Digital album “ENCHANT” is also released from ChillMountain which is hosted by GROUND from Osaka in Japan. It spread to all over the world and being played right after it released. He also did session with Alizarina (France) and the song is released from Tropical Twista Records (Brazil) and SHIKA SHIKA (Germany) in a row. In the latest,  he released his own songs in 12inch EP “NEW LIGHT EP” from his label HOLE AND HOLLAND (Tokyo). Nicola Cruz and Rafael Aragon remix ep was released on 10 inch vinyl. J.A.K.A.M. aka Moochy, CHURASHIMA NAVIGATOR, ZEN RYDAZ Remix has also been released continuously. All of these songs are played by Acid Arab , Altz , Dengue Dengue Dengue , EYE , Kaoru Inoue ,  Nicola Cruz and many artists all over the world. The release works influenced by the world and his talent have been evaluated by various artists.

Also, he provided mix for clothing brands “SON OF THE CHEESE”,“BEAMS”,“Journal Standard”, and Exotic / Ritual Community: Amateur Exotic (Russia). His label has released MIXCD “MAGIC NUMBER” with only their songs in 2017. His first mixtape “EXOTICA” is also released from Tastee T Production (Tokyo).
