This is a track which I produced in connection to a collaboration with Ableton and XLR8R for their common Editorial Feature Series.

I made a little excursion into the dubstep territorium and used only stock plugins and sample packs - all available within the mighty Ableton ecosystem.

"Juno Review: A record that explores deep, hypnotic rhythms with a strong tribal and mystical undercurrent, the latest Siamese Twins records pushes the boundaries of what is possibly in eastern influences underground techno. The transition into ‚Sumu‘ introduces a dynamic interplay of percussive structures, twisting and turning unpredictably yet always maintaining a cohesive flow. The elegant ‚Mandarin Duck‘ follows, gliding effortlessly through sonic waters, its vibrant textures mirroring the rich color palette of its namesake. Finally, the journey reaches its luminous

Obtuse Swamp's second ecosystem "Hadal Biocenosis" is the result of two years of sonic exploration by Leipzig-based artist Kontinum. Moving from conventional techno to a more bass-oriented sound, he left his comfort zone and experimented with unusual grooves and textures for this release. The EP is rounded off by two remixes from french dub expert Són du Maquís and fellow Leipzig producer Esgeem.
