Shady Monk - Croak Rave

We started this track back in January 2025 and finished in June. We decided to go with an 'anything goes' approach, trading midi files back and forth and building upon each other. Ended up rendering my project for the final product using SNES soundchip emulator C700 and a mix of rompler plugins (Roland MT-32, MSGS, Sound Canvas, JV-1080). It was very, very fun for one of my first full-on collabs and I learned so much.

Want to give my thanks and appreciation to STAFFcirc as a whole. From being an avid SoundCloud listener of this sphere of music many years ago to participating within it now, I feel quite happy and in slight disbelief, haha. Thank you once again.

This song is two years overdue; I was working on this one alongside Zero-Gravity Zone. I reached out to @rei_8bit and asked if he wanted to collab on it, and he added some fun chiptune to it! This is in my old style of funk, and doesn't hold up today, but I'm still glad we finished it!

The closing track to this years "album of the year" album VIDEO GAME REFERENCE. Maybe you checked out the album, maybe you lost interest half way through, I'm not judging but listen here pal I wanted to end the album on a high note so I put one of the best tracks where it's statistically least likely to be heard.
