L’histoire tourne autour de Jack Noventa, un humanoïde extraterrestre exilé sur terre dans les années 70, doté de pouvoirs hors du commun et affrontant le Pr Isaac O'Danel, génie scientifique et chef de file de la rébellion lors de la « lutte des cerveaux ». Ce dernier ayant décidé de prendre le contrôle de la terre, via la télévision.
