yet is a slippery word in English. Amorphous, these three letters in different contexts can define contrast or emphasis, set a place in time, show an expectation that something will occur or, paradoxically, that it is likely to stop. 

It is this mercurial nature that makes yet the perfect title for Tresor's latest compilation: the label follows on from the more explorative sections of 2021's landmark Tresor 30 boxed set with a compilation, featuring 13 artists making music that resists easy definition. 

Every track hints at and borrows from the familiar yet none follow the expected path: halfway through Deserto, Nandele &amp; A-Tweed dramatically reveal a very different sonic landscape that was initially suggested; DJ Sotofett collaborates with Sri Lankan artist Kavadi with results that are unlike anything in the Norwegian producer's catalogue as yet. 

Further invention can be found as Jean Redondo's Hypersonic moves across spaces inhabited by digital hardcore and hyperpop before swerving off-road and into a futuristic hip-hop section; on No Longer Human, Ireen Amnes takes a different path at the crossroads melding hyperpop, trance, and sci-fi soundtrack atmospherics, Significant Other heads towards UK Bass and Dubstep, and France's Willis Anne skims by the outskirts of footwork with a piece that is almost completely uncategorisable.

Yet more sonic experimentation comes from E-Saggila, Nadia Struiwigh, NVST, Solid Blake, and Viikatory who offer unique takes on the well-established electro blueprint, while Ryan James Ford, and Nit. both find ways to blend elements normally found in ambient pieces with those heard on a dancefloor.

The feel of the compilation is yet again reflected in the enigmatic artwork by Malik Arbab, where shapes and colours suggest animals and plants but in a world that appears to be transient and constantly evolving.

Slave To Society - Chasing Shadows (Ireen Amnes Remix) [Artaphine Premiere]

“An Eternity Still” delves into the theme of closure, capturing the emotional journey of closing one chapter and beginning another. It evokes a stirring blend of nostalgia and the need to move forward, balancing bright memories with the desire for growth and new challenges. Of leaving baggage behind to fill the suitcase anew, killing the darlings to find new loved ones, burn down the house and never look back. Because as everybody knows; warm memories linger—for an eternity still.

For this project, Vanity Productions' Christian Stadsgaard teamed up with close collaborators Emma Acs and Malthe Fischer, who joined in the compositional process. While the album maintains Stadsgaard’s signature melancholia, it also introduces a fresh sonic palette, incorporating vocals and guitar alongside the project’s hallmark broken electronics and dark, evocative melodies.

“An Eternity Still” also features remixes by acclaimed artists Farzané and Ireen Amnes, further enriching the album’s collaborative spirit and adding new dimensions to its haunting soundscapes.

Alcarcia presents new ALCATAPE. This new work, exclusively digital, or maybe not, who knows.. is titled "En la Hemeroteca :  Historia de Espírituses". An unfinished piece, designed to just to be enjoyed without overthinking, from clean motivational ambient to straight hard-break techno. 
Musically, the track go towards industrial electro, blending original compositions with samples from Exmilitary, the crucial influence, so massive thanks to Death Grips for sharing the Exmilitary samples years ago. That album? Absolute madness. This re-interpretation was created alongside Marcos F a legend Dj from Coslada (Madrid), syncman and a familiar face at many private clubs.
The band Damn Bell D’or originally started as a trio, though it now operates as a duo, continuously evolving.

Alcarcia comes with his new ALCATAPE, probably the last one… because, well, cassette tapes had their time.. And now it’s time to move forward... So, the co-founder of POLYMORPHISM Records will continue with a 2nd serie on his baby vinyl label, but there will be no more cassettes. That said, anyone eager to discuss about cassettes is welcome to reach out to Alcarcia, but the truth is he would love to speak about any other thing.

The PREMIERED track is composed by Mambo Canibal, Alcarcia (Damian) and his friend Aware (Javier) are mixed with some vocals of Kobe Bryant (RIP MAMBA) acappela rapping with a heavy rythm and blast synths. Checkout the previous two ALCATAPES to check the Aware's potential. Javier now will start a good adventure far away from Madrid and from here we wish him good luck friend.

Next TRM mix series comes from Ximo Noguera. Head of NXT Recordings and Industrial Complexx, delivers a 3h selection of his most recent influences.

Ximo Noguera began his career as a DJ in 1991, attracted by the vibrant electronic scene of the late 80s . His interest in EBM pushes him to explore other styles such as psy trance, break beat nu skool , electro , IDM , trip-hop or minimal, genres that pave the way to find a perfect tune with techno.
He has published on labels such as HC Records and NXT recordings. This last is where he is head together with Jesús Sierra and is also the head of Industrial Complexx.

Industrial Complexx is a media linked to dark, transgressive, experimental, eclectic and dissonant electronic music. It first emerges as a digital platform but, its activity expands as a record company, and also, as a printed medium.

“This set clearly shows my musical evolution in this last stage, as the linear techno that I frequented so much has given way to a more organic style and richer in nuances, in which any musical genre can appear at a certain moment. The length of the set is also something that I usually take into account because I need it to have a development similar to that of a hall, with a good warm up and a gradual progression that usually reaches its peak from the middle of the session and up to the end of it. Regarding styles and musical genres, above all, any cut that sounds at least elaborate and with a certain originality prevails.”
