This month will see Ryan Lee West aka Rival Consoles debut his new live set, restricting himself to a small selection of analogue equipment such as the Moog Voyager, Prophet and tape delay, as he supports Luke Abbott on his UK tour.

In celebration, Rival Consoles offers his fans a free download of the title track 'Odyssey' – a reflection of his quest to create atmosphere and space from minimal arrangements. His new EP also features label friend Peter Broderick and is available now on Erased Tapes.

A remix I made for Au Revoir Simone, a slow dubby sort of affair, not really for the the dancefloor.

I didn't want to use the full vocals so I went for a high-passed ghostly sort of effect with them, it catches some nice bands in the top of her voice though!

Polynation, a Dutch music duo renowned for their eclectic blend of electronica, ambient and world music has captivated audiences worldwide, whether on festival stages, club dancefloors, or in the comfort of listeners’ homes. Collaborating with Dutch label Atomnation since 2015, Stijn Hosman and Hessel Stuut have released three EPs and their acclaimed debut album, ‘Igneous’. They have also remixed Joep Beving on Deutsche Grammophon, and won over tastemakers like Gilles Peterson with their artful sounds and intricate studio wizardry.

Continually evolving, Polynation have honed in on a beautifully enriched sound, accumulating over 20 million streams on Spotify alone. Their dynamic live performances have graced festivals such as Best Kept Secret, Wildeburg, Secret Garden Festival, ADE, DGTL and clubs across Europe, delivering both soothing escapes as well as wild and energetic 2 am rhythms with equal style and sophistication.
 
They use a wide array of tools including drums, analogue synths, piano, kalimba, bass and electric guitar as well as pedals, tape (delays) and sax. Those acoustic sources, blended with electronic signals, lend their material a unique quality that's inspired by the infinite beauty of nature. Though meticulously crafted, Polynation's music is alive and imperfect, rooted in real-world emotions but warm with machine soul.
 
In 2024, the Amsterdam-based duo returns with a fresh wave of music. Anchored by live acoustic drums and analogue synths there is no limit to where Polynation's sonic alchemy might take you.
