Description: KVR One Synth Challenge entry. I used DS Thorn synth to make this uplifting trance/EDM/dance track.

This tinkles in a most pleasurable way. A really good sounding track.

I really enjoy this chord structure. Great flow. Drums are well done synthetic. Everything is well mixed and polished. Solid.

I don't know how to score this.  I love the chords and arps and melodies - and the general production.  But that foul high freq noise!  Gah!

I really enjoyed the high frequency resonance up to this point, but as others have stated, it's a little too intense later on.

Really like this track – looking forward to the version without the high frequencies :)

I really also like the harmonic progression.  Lots of "trance" songs just seem to repeat the same chord over and over and over and over and over and over.....  This is refreshing.

Other than the hi freq issue that people have mentioned I think this is a good sounding piece.  I wish that you had gone a little more creative with chords as it got further in - especially as the beginning was so good, but it was a fun listen.

I've re-uploaded this as 'Polynik - The Hero's Journey' in better qaulity and I tamed those nasty resonances. Still a free download as I made this for the KVR One Synth Challenge.

A Primer in Blues - OSC #196 - Primer 2

My Submission for August 2025 OSC. 7 Tracks, powered by FLStudio and Quilcomm's Trout. Maximus for loudness.

Based on various incarnations of the Trautonium - a Synth Design originating in the 1930's. I chose Trout because I've wanted to try my hand as something very old and very strange with the plugin. And oh my - it's strange.

Cover is AI generated this time - Colors and some things fixed/added afterwards. My blender skills aren't THAT good. 

Early synths defined some of the sounds and vibes that powered Science Fiction, so I went with something that evoked a dangerous and strange job in space. Enjoy!
