This year's Summer Collection (curated by label owner Nick Warren) is 20 tracks of Electronic gold. Every track chosen reflects the diversity of the label and showcases some wonderful artists' work.

We kick off with Leandro Caceres' "A Strange Case", a melancholy journey of part sadness and part joy. Next is Urmet K with "Sri Sukta", organic Sri Lankan vibes with a beautiful vocal from Shawni. Nosssia with "Amoureux" brings a weighty groove and melody to die for. We drop the tempo next with Marcan Liav and "Aninat In Space", a beautiful vocal track.

Stillhead is no stranger to The Soundgarden and with "Amusia" we head straight to the beach for a relaxed and groovy journey.

Bautista Toniolo brings us "Grumari", a lovely light progressive track with a refrain not a million miles away from 70s prog rock.

Pedro Capelossi is up next with "Mystical Atlas" which as its name suggests, takes you on a journey around the globe. This went down a treat for Nick in Argentina this year.

Amol Reon serves up a groovy delight with "The Dawn". Joyous melodies envelope you and send the dancefloor into overdrive.

French artist Sasson and SEGG deliver "Crossing Path", which locks you in and doesn't let you go. A great track by these young artists.

And we have Maezbi's "Patri" – it’s all things gorgeous, like a walk in the rainforest. It is one of Nick's favourite tracks of the past year.

We start off the second half of the compilation with the hugely talented Christian Monique's "Nexus Protocol". It’s a real statement of intent and was Nick's opening track on many of his Argentina shows earlier this year. This is followed by Vinu with "The Source", containing a brilliant hook that works a treat.

Facundo Baggio delivers a progressive bomb with "Osho" and Zankee Gulati gives us a peach full of melody.

Anhauser, Lio Q, Nicolas Leonelli’s "Montevideo" is a South American groove machine and Australian GMJ's track "Lifewaves" showcases the producer’s great talent.

The Soundgarden’s friend Fran Bux is next with "Forest Of Light", which lit up the Andes on Nick’s Argentina tour at the start of the year.

Doma and Amir Telem satisfy the dancefloors before we end with the blistering Subandrio & Nishan Lee's beast of a track, "Borax", which is a heavyweight groover.

Anhauser, Lio Q, Nicolas Leonelli - Montevideo [TEASER]

Clubsonica Records opens the new year by welcoming Lio Q, Anhauser and Nicolas Leonelli back to the label for a new EP. Working collectively since May of 2018, the talented Argentinean trio flexed their collaborative powers with a well-received release via Antrim's Or Two Strangers. This auspicious debut set the stage for their first Clubsonica offering 'Sands of Time', which landed in December of 2020 amidst praise and play from Hernan Cattaneo. Continuing to build a bond with the label, Lio Q, Anhauser and Nicolas Leonelli now return to Clubsonica with 'Lost Desert | Perfect Love', alongside remixes from Paul Deep (AR) and Dabeat.

The release begins with 'Lost Desert' which finds the trio drawing on the peak time sensibilities of their repertoire. It's tough, rolling groove commands a big presence from the outset, adorned with fiery percussion and electric pulses which drive momentum forward. Cosmic effects steal the air, building anticipation towards a series of melodic fragments, bringing emotional depth to the journey before initiating a heartfelt break. Cascading melodies and wistful atmospherics marry beautifully across the expansive interlude, building emotion with each successive pass, before eventually giving way to a thumping drop and charged finale. The companion piece 'Perfect Love' finds Lio and Nicolas operating as a duo and continuing the progressive tone set by its predecessor. Mysterious and mystical from the outset, a spacious groove sits at the foundation, as cross-cultural vocals and melodic fragments converge across the first act. The narrative shifts into more emotive territory as the main break commences, with the vocal emerging further, playing off striking tonal themes and buzzing effects, before effortlessly shifting energy into a glowing final act.

Returning to the label and providing the first interpretation of 'Perfect Love' is Paul Deep (AR). With a career that spans the better part of a decade, the Argentinean artist has compiled an impressive resume along the way, landing releases via All Day I Dream, Tale and Tone and The Soundgarden. World class DJs Lee Burridge, Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren have all been steadfast supporters of Paul's sound, which often sits in the creative space between progressive and organic house. Now getting 2022 underway in style, the Buenos Aires resident makes a welcome return to the label with a stunning rendition of 'Perfect Love'. Atop a warm, well contoured groove comes devilish effects, neatly tailored percussion and ethereal vocal gates. Emerging atmospheres add depth and space leading into the main break, phasing in and out of coherence as the full vocal sits gently below the surface. It's a remarkable sonic marriage sure to captivate listeners and dance floors alike, before perfectly segueing into a buoyant final movement.

The release concludes with Dabeat returning to the label and providing the second and final interpretation of 'Perfect Love'. Now laying claim to an impressive discography, the Santiago de Cali resident has showcased his music via Cid Inc's Replug Records, Nick Warren's Hope Recordings and UK behemoth Anjunadeep, while continuing to receive play and support from the genre's premiere tastemakers. Taking a cue from the original, Dabeat reshapes the groove for some added funk, while focusing on a dubbier yet equally emotive narrative. Timely chord changes provide an impassioned response, as arpeggiated fragments and wispy effects make for a colourful canopy of sound. Coming to full fruition during the main break, atmospheres begin to open up, rising triumphantly as percussive flurries and harmonic refrains unite for a powerful crescendo and exhilarating final act. An excellent interpretation from Dabeat, which caps off a sensational release for Clubsonica, who get 2022 off to a promising start.

Together from birth, two brothers united by their passion for music and more, Pongo is the latest sound evolution of Giovanni Bruni and Daniele Bruni. Growing up with a very similar musical culture, handed down in turn by their parents, the two brothers have always shared their art projects together. Giovanni started playing as a DJ in the early 2000s now enjoying success in the most famous clubs of the clubbing scene in Tuscany. Soon, his younger brother Daniele follows the same steps as supporting him in DJ sets and creating their first music projects together. In 2011, together with Luca L. and Elia C. founded the brand Yuma Recordings.In addition to the  label ,Yuma began to be known for the club event, Yuma Nights, and in 2013 the collective Yuma created the Vibe Club, a place that offered innovative sound in Italian nightlife. The brothers felt that they had to make their most personal productions, with which they can open up more towards a wider musical landscape.
 After a period of evolution in the studio in 2016, it's time to get back on stage for Giovanni and Daniele with their new Pongo project that takes shape with Giovanni on vocals. Their strong influences that fuses electronics, soul, and techno have created this new way of approaching the dancefloor: the combination of evocative song and a powerful and refined set.

Opening the EP is title track Upperground, an ethereal upbeat House tune which has been an essential component of the sets of Solomun in the past weeks. Atlas showcases their ability to step over to the dark side with a fist-pumping melodic Techno thumper.Closing off the record is Dont Bring Me Down, which was written by Dino Lenny and enhanced by ARTBATs brush into an emotional dancefloor hymn. The pairing of its string arrangements and the touching vocals of Dino Lenny will surely make for memories that last past the night out in which you hear it.

Two of the most earnest techno acts in the scene, ARTBAT links up with Matador and his RUKUS imprint for their debut collaboration 'Apollo 11' - a direct and out of this world two-tracker named after the first successful moon landing.

The Kiev-based duo and the Irish DJ-producer have handed the title-track over to Mixmag ahead of the record's release on March 15. With its driving rhythmic elements, vigorous pads and lively arpeggiator breakdown, 'Apollo 11' is a tune that has gotten nothing but an ebullient reaction from dancefloors all around the globe.
