Expect layered, mesmerising soundscapes inspired by cold winter days, held together with the more familiar tensions and textures you might expect from Phara.

DJ and producer STF has put together an hour-long mix featuring his own unreleased material, rare old-school gems, and tracks  from talented musicians from our current times.

Quelza - Two Thousand Six Hundred Fourty Two Seconds (…to think something)

A French DJ of Mauritanian descent based in Paris, Orphée has been mixing and, above all, collecting electronic music for the past eight years.
A fan of organic and mental techno, he mixes and layers tracks to guide his audience toward moments of collective euphoria.
Faithful to the scene's legacy, he skillfully handles its codes with respect while reinterpreting them through the lens of new sonic languages.
Orphée has shared the stage with renowned DJs such as Stef Mendesidis, Nastia, Kaiser, Steffi, Sol Ortega, Ignez, Justyn Nell, and François X, to name just a few.
He is the co-founder and artistic director of the label and collective Void Records, now a firmly established presence in the electronic music scene in Paris.
His musical project, however, is far from monolithic. A connoisseur of electronic music in all its diversity, he seamlessly oscillates between styles and genres, always in service of the groove, the dancefloor, and the dancers.
He is also a passionate lover of the art of the opening set, an exercise he regularly hones with meticulous attention to detail.

DJ français d'origine mauritanienne basé à Paris, Orphée mixe et, surtout, collectionne la musique électronique depuis huit ans.
Adepte de techno organique et mentale, il mixe et superpose les morceaux pour entraîner son public vers des moments d'euphorie collective.
Fidèle à l'héritage de la scène, il en manipule les codes avec virtuosité et respect, tout en les réinterprétant à travers de nouveaux langages sonores.
Orphée a partagé la scène avec des DJ de renom tels que Stef Mendesidis, Nastia, Kaiser, Steffi, Sol Ortega, Ignez, Justyn Nell et François X, pour n'en citer que quelques-uns.
Il est le cofondateur et directeur artistique du label et collectif Void Records, désormais bien établi sur la scène électronique parisienne.
Son projet musical est pourtant loin d'être monolithique. Fin connaisseur de la musique électronique dans toute sa diversité, il oscille avec fluidité entre les styles et les genres, toujours au service du groove, du dancefloor et des danseurs.
Il est également un passionné de l'art du set d'ouverture, un exercice qu'il peaufine régulièrement avec un souci du détail méticuleux.

This set unfolds like a voyage—each track shaping the path toward a deeper search for meaning. The opening break rhythms set the pace for departure, gradually evolving into immersive, hypnotic techno that blurs the boundaries between movement and reflection.

UNDERTRAX // Episode XXXI by Cster

After a strong first release on Fuse Imprint with ‘The Wall’, resident Phara returns to his home base for a mirage of introspective tracks. Furthering his research of emotive club music, ‘Soft Glow, Fierce Light’ seems more than appropriately named. Shimmering melodies, swinging rhythms, and a comforting ambiance, Phara proves that his constantly evolving musical persona and relationship with the Brussels club are built to last.
 
Beginning with ‘Unfold’, the Belgium-native sets the board with a warm introduction. Reminiscent of his recent endeavor as In Glass, a balance is struck between the slower tempo techno of his secondary alias and the higher club energy that he’s been known to bring as Phara. Steady at first, filters open wide half way through the track to ensure maximum euphoria off or on the dance floor. ‘Flow’ follows in suit and here the producer keeps the level constant and tense with intricate melodic design. A steady groove with blossoming synth lines make ‘Flow’ a beauty to witness unravel. Warm chord stabs make for a nostalgic EP and shows once more that the seasoned producer frequently enjoys prioritizing emotion over drive. Flipping the vinyl to the other side, ‘Wave to Wave’ points a finger to all things dub, even a discrete appreciation of house music, through the harmony of his keys to the sound design of his square bass, and its common borders with techno. Juggling in snare rolls and rides throughout, Phara sets the tone with a soothing piece of work for lovers of the eyes-closed genre. To conclude, ’Solitude’ brings a polished vintage effect to the project that ‘Wave to Wave’ introduced, this time with heightened intensity worthy of a set closer. Punchy stabs make this a particularly extraverted track, fitting into almost any record bag - Room 01 or Motion Room friendly. Thundering claps over an electric melody, these kinds of tracks aren’t new to Phara. Pouring soul into his tracks, Phara proves once again to be a truly central artist in developing the Fuse sound and continuing his stylistic journey.
