Notstandskomitee began as industrial side project to Das Kombinat in 1991, developing a own style of postindustrial electronic minimal music working with all kinds of electronics, from analogue via digital to softwarebased systems. Malte Steiner started with electronic music in 1983 and had projects like Nebelhorn and Moderne Fabrikanten before. Regular audiovisual performances.
Member in Projects Elektronengehirn, Das Kombinat, Akustikkoppler and Konform. Working as media artist, sound designer and software developer.

After a long break, the Belgian duo, consisting of model Kim Peers and Amenra guitarist Mathieu Vandekerckhove, is back with a new album called "Toasts & Sentiments." This LP showcases Skemer's dual nature, blending romantic and ethereal vibes with gothic electronic and techno elements. The album includes eleven tracks, ranging from introspective riffs to dark and pounding beats, with some Dutch-language episodes adding an air of mystery. Skemer's four-year hiatus has resulted in a compelling musical journey that's definitely worth exploring. Join us on this nocturnal adventure!
