KILL AURA

Knock knock, it’s Polyfield. Today I’m here to showcase the newest track I’ve been working on. If you haven’t looked in the comments of Kill Aura yet, then this will seem like nothing out of the ordinary. However, for those who did, this may appear as a surprise. Allow me to explain myself in greater detail than before. I previously stated that working on Kill Aura for four months straight kind of fatigued me when it came around to making Undertale related content, and that I wanted to slow down Undertale uploads for awhile. However, what I really meant is that, quality may fluctuate with my Undertale tracks, as I’ve grown rather tired of the same general formula, and so I’ve decided to take a more original, experimental, yet still familiar approach with my Undertale content, which is what you’ll be seeing in this track! This is a song with a style inspired by the very talented @bdvaughn, an intense yet emotional take on the Megalovania format, featuring Fire Chungus and Corrupted Chungus. With amazing art done by @ava-fleischman, which has two chungi, one with it’s likeness based off of my good friend, @fire_mario_fan. The other with it’s likeness based off of the Friday Night Funkin’ Corruption mod by. Phantom Fear (https://youtube.com/c/PhantomFearYT) Anyways, enough chit-chat. I have been working towards this milestone for about four years so it's very rewarding to finally see what I've been working to come to me. I was originally going to have this be "MERRYGOVANIA" however, I didn't have any ideas for it and I'm still satisfied with what I accomplished with Merrygovania's current iteration. So here's "Sticks and Stones" a Megalovania replacement for Grand Dad himself. for Storyswap Repainted, a combination of the AU's Undertale Hacked and Storyswap. I went for a chiptune style with this one as it somewhat emulated the console Grand Dad originates from!

Funny how as soon as I make my “grand exit” from UTSC I’m already back into making megalos? I promise not to make this a habit but I have one more confirmed to be on the way. This arrangement of Robin Blend’s “Dynami” is actually interesting because it was composed only using instruments that are native to FL Studio 20. As I recently had to switch laptops as my old one bit the dust. While waiting for my Soundfonts to be ready to be transferred, I made this (which is based on a “Dynami” concept I made on my phone!) I am quite proud of the result of this and the limitation has allowed me to learn more about FL’s instruments and I intend to use them more in my future work!

This was a song I just randomly made in about two days and I'm honestly really proud of the result. Certainly better than my first remix. Of course the original song is by TheDrunkPotato (@tdp2) and so is the art of Polyfield in the thumbnail.

Sorry for not posting anything in awhile, I had to deal with personal life stuff like finals, but I have this and more to show for my absence!
